You should have just stuck that shit in wet tissue paper...it never fails...

xbravoz I think what happend is that you left them, in the cup of water to long.there touchy little fuckers.WWW.GREENHOUSESEEDS SAYS you leave the seed in for no more than 10 hours.after 10hrs you put them in paper towels.what I think happens is that the water softens the shell so the white root can bust threw. that shell is so hard it can pierce threw with the root.it said on the site that if you let it go for more than 12 hours its done root rot.I feel bad for you man because you spent good money on your seeds and all the sketchie shit that comes with buying them.cod4 he did stick it in a paper towel and it didnt germ and same for me.

i have gotten some mixed results from nirvana. sometimes the genetics are a little weak. but i like them this go around my snow white and ppp are great. my bad experience is when i had a set of 10 ak 48, 5 of which didnt germ and the other five were males.

good luck next time. the ppp is pretty nice man and i always soak my seeds. sometimes it just a unlucky thing

You're an incredibly hypocritical individual. I never once said they sucked did I? I merely said you get what you pay for. Never once was I condescending and never once did I say not to order from Nirvana.

All I said to you was you get what you pay for. Maybe you should take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard big guy. You made quite a few assumptions and hypocritical comments. If Greenhouse Seeds or Dutch Passion are selling strains that Nirvana sells (for half the price), don't be upset when they don't pop.

$45 is still a fuck load of money to be getting 0:10 ratios...

You're right, but its not from Nirvana. I am merely responding to his initial post and his post title.

I don't need to elaborate anymore. The way he replies to people leads me to believe the beans were just fine and the problem was from an operational standpoint.

I don't know about the asshole part....but you do get alot of different opinions here....good for a base of information...but as this is my first grow....I'm finding that it's goin to come down to trial and error...maybe alot of error...LOL

I stopped soaking my seeds in a glass of water so long because I have had problems with the same thing. I usually soak them for an hour or so and gently tap them to see if they sink. When/if the sink I let them soak for another 1/2 hour and then do the paper towel method. It can be a pain in the ass if you're doing lots of seeds, but I think I was drowning them before.

Nirvana told me that open the papertowel every 2 hours and change the water! That was bullshit!!!!
Also right now Im not sure that im growing white widow!!!

Soaking seeds...sinking seeds...Iv'e always used the paper towel method..never had a problem popping seeds, use a spray bottle to keep the towel damp, not wet...It may take a few days but be patient..just my experience..

I had the same problem. I was soaking the seeds until they cracked and they would show root and never sprout. I got sick of wasting quality seeds, so i tried different methods using bag seeds. The best way i found is to soak the seeds for 12 hrs and then get 2 pieces of paper towel and fold it into a square twice. Then get 3-4 cap fulls of hydrogen peroxide (H202) ans soak the paper towel and then soak it a little more with distilled water. Then i put my seeds in the paper towel and put it in a small ceramic dish with a lid on it and set it on top of my satellite receiver. I check them every 12 hrs until they have a root a little longer than a 1/4" and then plant them. If you try this method you will have success. I tried a lot of different ways and this has proven to work with the highest germ rates. It can take 1-3 days to germ but they will germ 90 - 100%.

I got a few of the nirvana bubblicious to sprout. so far 3 out of 6 have been good. so far. Ive found it best to leave them in the cup of water till its ready to drop its shell. the taproot will be about 1/4"-1/2".
