Extremely Confused about when to flush during flowering cycle

Everyone says that you flush 1 to 2 weeks before harvest. Assuming it takes 60 days to flower, does that mean that the total cycle would be 67 days minumum? I'm not sure whether to keep the 60 day thing intact, or go 67 days if you include the flush.

Another question regarding clones. I have a bunch of different once, and some look more mature then others. Thanks to this, I have no idea when to harvest each one. I look under the magnifier I bought, and when I can manage to stop it from shaking, I can see what looks like clear trichomes. Assuming I am seeing it right. It looks like it sparkles. I want to know if their is an easier way just by looking at it with your eyes. Once I see it is ready, do I immediately stop the nutes and start the flushing?

Furthermore, I have set up a room where I have too many plants and not enough light. This results in me having to water it less, and I am not getting another light. I have decided to just do less plants next time. My question is, because I have had to water them less, During the final weeks of my grow, it seems like nuting it is redundant since I only have to water them 1 to 2 times per week anyway. This is my first grow from clones, first real complete grow. I hate the fact that I screwed things up and I'm just lost right now.

Everyone where? I for one do not flush, been growing several years and never have flushed but I do reduce or stop feeding the last couple of weeks....I use organics only....but if you're using non-organic, I'd suggest flushing....and NO, your flushing times does not add to your flowering time...cause when it's done, it's done...flushed or not......
For viewing trics, carefully clip a small leaf in the bud, place on a table or something to give you steadiness with your glass.
Are all your clones from the same plant? Taken at different times, etc....??
There's a good thread somewhere here about "keeping it simple" that gives a lot of good info on all aspects of growing that would be of great aid to ya.

if you don't screw up you can't learn...

for example to many plants is good...now you have enough to experiment on.
some peeps don't believe in flushes and claim it's all about the cure...

i'd flush some and not flush some....and some wouldn't even get their final round of nutes even

that sort of thing...you know?

i dont flush unless i makea mess up on nutes or what ever just cut em when theyre done and theyll tell you when theyre ready just look at theyre trichs

Well I am using Fox Farm nutes, but I don't have to water them too much because I have so many plants under one 400 hps light. I agree with being able to experiment but as you can see by my name, it is Lebowski. That is a lot of work for me, and when you multiply it by sooo much I just can't handle that kind of workload. I would like to be more like Jerry Maguire and focus on four clients, giving them the attention and desire they need. I think I am doing a poor job when it comes to following the nute schedule, this is something I would like to keep better track of next time. It seems that I just get a clone at a random time though, so I always screw up the schedule and never know when to do what!

you know how to reduce your workload a whole fucking ton?

buy another light ya cheapskate! It's for your clients!

If this is the case, I would have to reduce feeding within 3 days. According to the fox farm schedule I give it 2 tsp of tiger bloom, 1 tbl spoon of Big Bloom, as well as 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Cha Ching Soluble for the last 2 weeks, so I am confused. The soluble I would just feed every other watering, but since I hardly water them, I would only use this one time. This is why I hate that I put so many under one light.. I have to modify and do things wrong

I'm not buying another light man... I'm just doing less plants... I learned the hard way.

Its more than just work too. I really dislike moving all the plants out and back in each time they need to be watered, I can see that I screwed up making the stems sturdy enough and they flop everywhere. With just four I will have to take less in and out.. this is what I'm doing and it will work alright!

why not just use it the one time and see how it turns out then? it's easy.

walk away man, just walk away and let em do their thing...if they need more they will say something for sure

As Chubby said, you have enough to do some this way, some that way....best way to learn.......keep a log...next grow you'll eliminate what doesn't work for ya.....

Alright well.. some will stop getting the nutes, some will get the full nutes, and some will get half the nutes.

i know it's a pain in the rear...but you'll probably never have to do it ever again...most peeps need several grows to accumulate this kind of data.

once you start the next grow, you can give em both barrels with full confidence.

It really is. I see contradicting opinions everywhere. Now I read that Tiger Bloom is not organic.. so I'm thinking definite flush now, which means no nutes in the next three days!?!

yes. what works for some does not for others...as in all things...this is why pain in the ass experimenting is needed. so you KNOW for yourself what works for you.
follow directions, and have someone to blame when things go wrong...or deviate and bear the bitter fruits of your tinkerings all alone.

it's not like a flush takes out ALL the nutes...just keep a sharp eye on em is all if you feel you must flush.
just listen to the plants, they will tell you more than any person can

indeed. lol.
I'm right there with you.
confusing as all hell it is

starting to see the treasure trove of extra plants you're sitting on yet?

I guess all I can do is trial and error being so new to it at this point. I will go with flush / half nutes / full nutes. I will flush the most mature ones.
