Extreme Q Vap Initial Feelings.

.. so, i've been wanting a new toy for awhile now, so i've been looking into a few different brands of vaporizers.. after reading a ton of reviews, which basically all said that the volcano was the creme de la creme, but also the top of the market price wise as well, costing around a good six hundred dollars or so.. this was a lil too much money than i wanted to spend on something that i wasn't even sure if i was going to enjoy or not, so i looked around for the next best reviewed vaporzier that was a lil more in my price range, about two to four hundred dollars i was willing to spend..
this lead me to the extreme q vaporizer .. all that i read said that it was about as close to a volcano that one could get without dropping that amount of cash on it.. i found mine on amazon, it is the extreme q vap extreme kit i belive its called, and it comes with the extreme q, a ton of extra whips and mouth pieces and ballons and whatnot, and it also comes with an iolite handheld vap as well.. i have as of yet to try the iolite, but when i do, i will come back here and let you know how that works..
i just filled up the extreme q with some strawberry d lite that i have left from my last grow, assembled and attached the bag collection system, and used the remote control that also comes with the unit to turn on the fan and blew myself up my first ever bag of vapor.. its nice sitting on the couch simply pushing the remote to blow my bag up as i zone out.. the unit is rather quiet during operation, more so than i would have thought honestly.. hardly makes a sound at all, except maybe when you have the fan on three, but even then, not so much..
now, here is the part i was worried about.. how was the high going to be from a vap? i was super nervous that it wouldn't be the same somehow as say a blunt or a rip out of my roor, but my first sip from the whip was rather pleassent.. a nice warm vapor with lots of flavors filled my lungs.. so far, way better than what i was expecting honestly, even for the money.. i had thought it was going to be my new $380 paper weight, but after my second bag now, i don''t think thats ever going to happen..
i'm super impressed with the ease of operation, although assembling the bags took a few minutes time, but nothing major, and it took me a few minutes to figure out which glass piece works with what, is awesome.. i still haven't figured out how to change the temp on it from c to f, so i set it for 175 c, thinking that should be a lil under 400 or so f if memory serves right.. probably still gotta mess around with the temp, setting a lil more to get the most out of my vaps, but at 175 c, it gets me rather stoned.. my eyes feel very heavy as i sink back into the couch.. good stuff..
so far. two bags in, i think i would have to give it maybe a 9.5 out of ten.. not sure why im taking off the .5, but i would figure that there most be room for improvement, and im sure ill find some fault with it the more i use it and think of ways that they could possibly have done something a lil more to my liking..
so what do i say to someone who is like me and has been thinking about purchasing a vaporizer but are worried that the stone may somehow be a lil different, or not get you to where you like to be? i say nonsense... with my extreme q vap, i feel about as high as i would from two or three hits from the bong.. not sure how long the high will last yet, but will find out soon enough..
another thing i really like about the vaporizer is that it takes way less weed to get you stoned over especially say a bong or a blunt or basically any other method of getting off other than edibles of course.. i filled the bowl piece up about half way, and so far have filled two bags, and i would say i've still probably got about another three bags atleast left in the bowl.. that same amount may have been two or three nice hits out of my roor.

It is factory set at 356° F
factory set? does that mean you can not adjust it, or is that just where it was when you bought it?? i'll have to go and google some f to c conversions to see where i am with my 375 c..
thanks again for the 411..

hey racerboy, did you ever figure out how to convert from C to F? I just picked up the Extreme Q and so far im lovin it!!!! and did you figure out a good temp range? i started mine out @ 200 deg C and works great.

Make sure you guys with extreme q's pack the elbow for extra efficiantcy. just take the elbow that connects to the cyclone bowl and pack that cup shaped screen. saves you a ton of herb, I honestly pack a .05 to .1 in there and get blasted.
