I add CMH lamps along with my LEDs during the colder months to increase leaf temp. Better than paying for a heater, with the nice side effect of increased light.
( not this qoute but the slab sample one, im lazy not looking for it)

also im bringing a syrginge to work, and trying that out

when the grodan people came by last yr they never mentioned using a syringe, ill be honest i take most of what i do with grodan from that 8 hr day where they, 2 dudes, came in and demoed all their gear on the farm with their sop's

ill be suprised if a syringe will get a sample but im all for it

I took a few pics last night. And did a mild pruning on the lowers. But this strain is more spindly even with more light so it didn't need much. It's growing like some of the OK Kush strains I've grown. I'm just a small time grower that still has lots to learn. But this soil is 3 1/2 years old.

And here's the veg tent. Same strain but we're in 1/2 gal instead of 15's like the other 2. They were transplanted to 15's 6 days ago. And replaced the 2 HLG 135 V1 5000k with my new SP3000 last night.

thank you very much

i think ill pick this up, can alwasy bolster what i already think i know. is this where you produced those SOPs from?

before going back in to cannabis i worked as IPM and crop analyst to a 16 acer farm. i always fall back to a lot of what i learned there and this seems right up that alley.

/s

how long does that take to break down or is that a process that some leachates every fertigation
It doesn't break down fast at all as a mulch. If I mix it into the soil it lasts about 6 months if my soil is really active. Then it basically becomes compost.

And what about this car shit? I'm confused. I try not to piss people off on here.

Rice hulls.

It's my mulch, but I have it in my mix too. It also reflects light back up too, for a bonus. Oh and of course it has silica.
I keep thinking about trying pure rice hulls as a hydro medium. Not sure how well it would actually work. I seen mixed studies with rice hulls in hydro, but nothing for cannabis. I was thinking maybe a modified hempy/dwc system, or a simple ebb and flood.

60 bucks for the kindle copy...ill get a hard back for the office to flex but thanks, im sure it well worth the bezos fee, hope some goes to the author
I never buy digital copies. If I'm gonna shell out money I want the physical copy. Krafty gardeners will search for a free pdf version online.
