Exposed

I had some slime on my top pebbles so I took them out . Now my roots are exposed.
Does anyone know if it will be ok to leave the roots exposed like this? I really like the look but don’t want to harm the plant.

For the most part you should be. But if you have more I would add it Just my opinion

Yeah the exposed roots will die.

A crafty gal like you shurly could come up with a plastic cover.

I do have the plastic cover for it and thought about putting it on . I don’t like the look so much and it’s not a good fit because I have a slit in it to slip it on and the fan flaps it in the breeze.
I will just add some more clean pebbles .

On another interesting note .... I finally grew my very first Polypoid Bud!

Ok thanks. I covered them.

i cut pieces of panda film with a hole in the center and a slit and use those to cover my WFs. no more algae on the top layer of media

That’s what I do as well but I still get algae. It must be my drip ring .
