Hi i've recently got into growing weed but before that i had interests in other mediums which can be viewed as "out of the box", anyone else who listens to coast to coast am with george noorey/art bell can probably relate.

Anyways back on topic.

Im curious has anyone tried any of the following expierments to see the affects on the growth speed of their plant?


Growing plants using Pyramid

Some high thinkers have suggested using a pyramid structure around a plant promotes growth speed due to how the shape manipulates the energy fields inside the structure.

Growing plants using Music

There has been a number of expierments using differents types of music and music exposure to grow plants.
The conclusions from the majority fo these expierments suggest that classical music played had a positive affect on plant growth compared to a duplicate cloned crop using no music.
And rock music had a negative affect.

Growing plants using positive thinking

This might seem a bit silly to those who havent looked into these field before, but a number of expierements have been done (not plant related) that suggest positive thinking linked in with the laws of attraction have positive affects on your surroundings. Its built on the bases that what we think of intensily (be it positive or negative) is drawn towards us.
Anyways linking this with plant growth, it would be interesting to do an expierement where one plant recieves positive thoughts throughout its growing period and one plant recieves negative thoughts (ie constantly thinking aggresive thoughts, imagine it not growing etc) and then compare the results

now i dont know too much about this at all, ive just stumbled across it a few moments ago which gave me the motivation to write this thread.
I wont go into too much detail about this one due to my lack of knowledge however from what ive read, magnetized water or placing a plant between magnets has a positive affect.

Theres a book called "The Secret Life Of Plants", by Christopher Bird where by it describes a number of unbelievable expierments done on plants, which i feel "need" to be replicated.



Anyways like i said i didnt want to go into too much detail yet, so ill leave it there and wait for some responses.

Id also like to mention that i grow my plants in my attic, which is a "pyramid" shape. My plant is about 2 weeks old and already is quite big

Albert Roy Davis and Walter C. Rawls that made these discoveries. Plant yields can be increased from 20% to 200%! The plants will have a higher concentration of nutrients too. I've done experiments myself. They wrote about these and other fascinating experiments in their first book, "Magnetism and Its Effects on the Living System". There are some species that will grow better with exposure to North AND South pole energy. For example, the North pole plants may give you the highest yield, but the South pole plants will have the most nutrients. In these cases both will have improved qualities over plants of the same species that haven't been exposed to either magnetic field. You can find more information about this discovery on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website, patent # 4,020,590.

I have The Secret Life Of Plants, what a good book. Though farfeched in parts, i would like to see modern follow ups on all of those experiments.

from what i gather there has been however its not that widely known.

Oh i found a youtube video, it seems to be from an australian news program.

I really do think people should try this

Go on utube and type in mythbusters experiment with plants. or something like that. Im sure you will find it. Im juced at the moment so i cant be botherd to look....lol

I watched it and they did this experiment with music and negative and positive sentences. results were amazing. After watching this i play my lady'd music and they are Monsters.

yeah i saw that ages ago, cant remember now what theyre conclusion were but i remember concluding after watching the episode that i wasnt happy with the experment itself especially when they accidently killed a bunch of plants due to equipment failure or something, which imo would of had some sort of stress affect on the rest of the plants. plus this link brings up alot of faults with the experiment http://www.bio.net/bionet/mm/plant-ed/2004-December/007770.html Altough i do believe music has a positive affect, it just needs to be proven better

They then proceed to kill the plant next to it! the plant that was hooked up to the machine started to react intensly, then they made the person who did it come back an hour later and the plant started reacting to that persons presence again as if it knew who did it lol.

I try to stay open-minded with regards to different techniques. But there's so much unproven to disproven voodoo BS being shared on the internet it has to be misleading to new people.

I'm not trying to personally attack anyone here - but how many times are people going to rehash the same voodoo (mystical energies, magnetism, music, etc), instead of trying something actually new and outside-the-box?

Whatever you do, make sure you use clones from a healthy or your experiment is bullshit, because different seeds have different genetics

iw as watching some videos and i came across a series of videos which may help prove the "power of thought" claim in my first post.

If you type into youtube "Masaru Emoto Rice Experiment" you will find dozens of expierments done by people like you and me who simple got two jars of rice and put the word "thank you" on one and "you fool" on another.
The result of every expierment showed that the jar with the positive words "thank you" on it contained healthy rice after 1 month whilst the other jar had decomposing rice.

it links in with Dr Masaru Emoto expierments on water whereby he analysed the structure of the water crystalastion after flash freezing it.
The water which was given positive thoughts showed beautiful structure whilst the water given negative thoughts created a disformed ugly structure.

good thing about this is that you guys can all try this for yourself. if we are patient enough to grow weed them im sure we can all try this

ok ive been doing this rice expierment now for about 5 days and already the rice with the negative message is going orange whilst the rice with the positive message is staying white. unfortnetly i dont have a camera right now, but when i do i will take a photo

my plant is 8 feet tall in a 2 foot speaker box thats always playing death metal and has magnets in it obviously from the speakers... Holy plant man

Very good thread, I too am a c2cAM fan and a reader of Dr. Emoto's experiments on water. I was growing 4 mystery bag seeds and "infused" my water with "female" vibes and so far 2 of the 4 are showing to be female (the other two are not mature yet and I wait for preflowers instead of moving to 12/12 early). I also set my plant's radio to this random easy-listening-super-mellow-elevator-music station. Music I would never listen to regularly (I like hiphop and bebop not mellow ya'know) but this easy-listening station is REALLY growing on ME. I mean how is that "voodoo"? Magnets and pyramids - okay the jury is out. But mellow moods and good vibes, loving thoughts - why wouldn't that work? Parents don't grow healthy and happy children with angry words. We use soft voices and "at'ta boys." DNA is a major mystery, and I believe plants do recognize people (it's a DNA thing) just like animals do. Also, like plants there's a lot of water in our bodies, and magnetite in our brain tissues. The phases of the moon affect water and magnetism so now that I'm typing I don't see how magnets are necessarily voodoo either...

Personally I like to yell at the plants like a drill sergeant. "You fucking puke slime is that the best you can do!? You call those leaves!? I wouldn't wipe my ass with those leaves! My catnip plants has thicker stems than you miserable piles of filth!" Then when I feed them I yell, "Chow time! You've got 15 minutes to eat your chow and get your asses back to growing, you hear me maggots!" I also like to wake them in the morning with a bugle while banging on pots and pans and flashing the lights on and off. "WAKE UP LADIES! FRONT AND CENTER!" =D

This is crazy, We put Smiley faces all in the box and on pots, playing it light elevator music, with also magnetizing the water...the result is amazing..if only you guys coulld see before and after
