hey, nice pics. You said about the purple branches coming of the stems, do you mean the fan leaf stems?? because I have this too but I just put it down to genetics. I have seen plenty plants with purplish stems and they seem to be fine so i tend not to worry about it. Also my fan leaves seem to curl a little bit but this could possibly be because the NL fan leaves are huge and have a little weight(but thats just my theory and I guess im a noob lol) it could also be because of overwatering or even underwatering. You seem to be adding alot of nutes, salts, vinegars, and lots of others things to your plants but I think u seem to be overcomplicating your grow man(i mean no offence here but im just trying to help). the only thing I ever put in my plant pot is water that i leave open for 24hours and they seem to be growing fine... I mean sure... I have some yellow leaves on the bottom of the plant but who cares lol. I only plan on adding nutes when the plants are big enough and plain water isnt doing it for them anymore, I just like to let nature take its course. hope this kinda helps a little bit.

Yea this help and I appreciate you commenting. I guess I get so freaked out when I see a little issue I just try to fix it. I thought it had a magnesium deficiancy so that is why I added the epsom salts on someones recommedation. They do look okay but just not growing as fast as some other I see that started at the same time. I am going to buy new soil since I think the MG might be the main problem but really I dont know. I need to buy new pots soon too but not sure if I get 3 gallon or 5 gallon. This shit is really getting expensive lol. Thinking about getting this and hopefully it is enough.

The thing is my fan leaves aren't getting much bigger. I am getting new growth every day but some of the fan leaves I see are huge at three weeks. Mine are not.

Does anyone know how I would go about changing the soil? I mean do I just knock off as much miracle grow that I can and then add the fox farms? Do i need to remove all the old soil and will this shock the plants at all?

im sure they will grow alot faster soon. dont worry. hopefully those new pots will be what they were wanting. MG = magnesium... lol im glad u posted that because i would have felt stupid asking what it meant haha.... im still not really sure. man growing is complicated... or maybe im just really highbongsmilie. I cant wait for harvest day to get here, i have heard good things about NL.

was reading thru the thread..........don't put boiling water in your grow area. boiling water is 212F. that'll fuck with your plants by driving up the heat and humidity in big swings, imo.
your humidity isn't terrible, and you'll be glad its low when flowering starts.

Thanks man....I get so much conflicting advice. I only did it once and now the pots of water are cooled. My humidity is holding at 50-55. Appreciate the advice.

Updated pics.....starting to grow a little faster now. I topped one but not sure if I did it too early or even did it right. I just really wanted to experiment. The topped one is growing a little where I cut it.

as long as it has or had 4 nodes before you topped you should be good? just pay attention to the plant you topped it might require a little more food than the rest since you topped it.

Update: I started getting purple spots on the lower leaves on 2 out of the 4 plants. I assume this is a Phosphorus deficiancy or Phosphorus lock out. I was using Miracle Grow Organic soil but changed to Fox Farms OF (25% Perlite) 2 days ago when I switched to 3 gallon pots.

There wasn't much growth yesterday. I guess due to the transplant. The new growth looks pretty good I guess and they grew more today then any other day. When I transplanted them I put a gallon of 6.5 PH distilled water in them. I will probably watch them and water again in a few more days when they dry out.

I have an Exhale CO2 bag in there and the RH is 50-55%. Temps are max 84 in the day and lowest 68 at night.

Please let me know what you think about the spots. I really haven't checked the run-off since I just changed the soil. Hopefully this Fox Farms Ocean Forest will be a little easier on the plants then the MG Organic was.

You can see the purpleish spots in the pics. The small one is the one that I topped about 5 days ago. The older fan leaves kind of curled up and dried a little but the 2 new shoots in the middle look alright, I guess?

Any feedback would be appreciated.....

I get mine from marijuanaseeds.nl ~ which~ I ALWAYS GET in less than 10 days and have 100% germination~ This season... the seeds~LOOKED LIKE SHIT , as they were~TINY~ & immature looking~ BUT~ I had 100% germination~ so cannot complain i guess~ THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL~ BABIES!~CONGRATS~

It's TRUE THAT~ WE ALWAYS KEEP LEARNING~& NEVER KNOW IT ALL~ Great attitude and plants!

i just really look at your post with the description of your choice of soil. like i stated earlier check your ph and ppms from your run off, fox farm soil is known for being hot straight out of the bag. next time flush the soil to see how much food is in it before you put your babies into it.

I got a digital PH meter but haven't checked the run-off since putting them into Fox Farms OF. The new growth isn't looking too bad on them and they are definitely growing well. One of the four is showing sex (its female), the other three are not. They are feminized seeds so hopefully they will all be female. I haven't fed them once since putting them in the new soil/pots and they seem to be doing better. I watered them last Sunday with ph'd water but that was before I have a digital ph meter. I then watered them again 2 days ago with 6.5 ph water excactly. No food yet but they look good. I will put up some pics soon and pics of the one showing sex and you can tell me if that is what I think it is. I think my biggest problem was the MG soil and not having a digital ph meter. I am just going to sit back and little and let them do their thing.
