Thanks for the positive comments!!!

But its hard for me to be positive at the moment as I come here to post some tragic news :cry: I DROPPED MY PLANT! From about 1 meter and it land upside down...ALL THE WEIGHT OF THE GRAVEL ONTO THE PLANT. Almost snapped one of the smaller colas clean off (tis just hanging on...i dont hve much hope for it). Crushed the other smaller cola and bent it right over. Snapped off a few smaller popcorn buds from very bottom of plant. Main cola is not badly damaged at all. :wall: Its a real shame. Cant imagine the amount of stress the roots just went through...let alone the whole plant.

What an idiot I am. Needed the adjust the lights so took the plant out. I then noticed it was sunny outside (tis rare atm so thought i'd take advantage). Took it out and let it sit for couple hours. Adjusted lights and then when I came to bring it inside I picked it up and it slipped from my hands.

Ill get some pics up tomorrow but be prepared...its not pretty.

Ahhh, Im shattered.

And the smell... HOLY CRAP! Stunk out the whole backyard! Smelt awesome, but I obviously couldnt really enjoy it.

I put a thin (approx 1-1.5cm) layer of gravel and then sprinkled a small amount of soil over the layer and repeated until the pot was filled. Twas quite a grainy sandy soil so each soil layer basically filled some of the gaps between the gravel in it's layer.

Thnaks mate, that would have been extremely helpful about an hour ago, but I got bigger fish to fry now. The stress is going to be immense..

@lennycolas
thanks mate... glad your interested. I was having quite a fun time seeing this one progress. Im feeling a lot more despondent now.

Well Im gonna go and get baked and try not to think of what a foolish thing I've just done.

Till tomorrow....

sorry bout the lady. im about clumsy sometimes too, ive dropped my 4' t12 on my few seedling a few times adjusting the light. ive been lucky not to hurt them, just dump out most of the soil. i just read the whole thread. props on the grow! i remember see some guys grow, i think on RIU, and he used pure silica gravel for his grow. kinda foggy on the details but i think it was a dwc grow though. using silica would help keep you ph right in the sweet spot plus help with calcium added to the girls. just food for thought. ive subbed and have my fingers crossed for your girl
