Experienced Growers Please Help!

Hello ganja growers, I am in need of some help only an experienced indoor grower can answer. I have a setup thats about 4.5 ft x 6ft x 7ft . I am running a dual spectrum 400w HPS / 400w MH for a total of 800w. I want to bud my plants at he perfect height to harvest them at 5-5.5ft. At the moment they are about 2.5ft. I know I'm getting close to 12-12, but I dont want to do it to early and lose out on yield, nor do I want the plants to get to large for the room. They have been growing about 1/2 to 3/4 an inch a day, so I am assuming they will not grow in height more than 2ft during budding. But I am afraid to wait till they get to 3ft to bud, and have them get to big by harvest. I would love some advise from any experienced growers.

depends on the strain man. I had one that was 10" the day I switched & this today she stands 40 1/2" in 3 weeks. Plan on them doubling & if it's sativa dominate plan on it tripling maybe more.

id put it in to flower today m8 if it doubles its 5.ft if it triples you r gonna have to lst or something

I want to thank everyone for there advise, I threw them all into 12-12 last night and can't wait until everything starts budding nicely. I'll keep posting pics in my gallery weekly.
