Experienced Aero Cloner Questionaire!

hey all, just wondering if i could get a couple of anwers from people who have extended experience with any type of aero cloner. Just have a curiosity to see how other people run their set up!!!

1) humidity?
2) room temp?
3) water temp?
4) ph lvl?
5) lights?
6) watering cycles (or 24 hrs)?
7) any rooting accelerators?
8) anything else?
9) rooting time?

4) ph lvl? 5.8
5) lights? 4 bulb T5
6) watering cycles (or 24 hrs)? 15 min on/15 min off
7) any rooting accelerators? no
8 ) anything else? myco and enzymes (stress zyme)
9) rooting time? 5-21 days depending on strain

so you only use water no nutrients?

Zero nutes, once the clone has a nice set of roots, she goes to the veg unit. Some clones take longer than others and may get a spritz of foliar if they look hungry.

7) any rooting accelerators? yes i dip in rooting hormoan its booost my root grow not in time but i get tons of roots
8) anything else? nothing else set it and forget it
9) rooting time? 5-15 days

1) As high as I can keep it under a dome until roots appear
2) ~70°F
3) 65°F - 72°F
4) 6.0
5) Four 2' T5HO (total overkill)
6) 24/7 misting
7) Clonex rooting gel & Olivia's Cloning Solution
8) Twice per day foliar feeding w/pH'd water.
9) 100% success rate within 10-12 days max.

i must ask what is the reason you put a dome over babies in an aero cloner? do you get faster rooting time with a dome?

I think a dome would slow down rooting(since they don't have to pop roots as bad to find water).. but keeps them greener longer...

I firmly believe that leaving the misters on 24/7 increases the rate of root production. Also, because I tested it out with 2 separate, identical systems with the same strain :leaf:

only reason i am not running 24/7 is cuz 15/15 is a simple cheap way to solve my water temp problem :P

The dry period forces root cells to form in search of moisture; but what do I know?

That sucks to hear about your water temps. Are you running higher than 250gph for your pump? During veg and flower, I definitely bring it back to 1 on 10 off.

I know what I saw. Besides, it works out in my benefit to have roots pop faster given my operation. I agree though, they'll pop a day or two faster in the winter which works out perfectly for me:leaf:

5) lights? ...2 x 4ft flos (40w)
6) watering cycles (or 24 hrs)? ...24/7
7) any rooting accelerators? ...pure tap
8) anything else? ...nothing but tap
9) rooting time? ...7 - 10 days
10) success rate? ... 100 % , everytime, always!

300gph pump, but i dont see what my veg and flower rooms have to do with any of this?

Nothing. I was stating that "I" run my pump 24/7 for the cloner and "I" turn it down to 1/10 during veg and flower. I just happened to test 2 separate cloners and it seemed that when the misters are on 24/7, they seemed to thrive and create more roots at a faster rate. All with the same strain and pheno too. It's all about preference at the end of the day really:leaf::peace:
