expanding footprint in tent with cfl's in corners??

things are going awesome with my leds so far but what about adding a couple max wattage cfl's to the corners to make the core coverage of led's area a little bigger? i fear just a few areas on the edges will be just short on light once my ladies get a little bigger. the other thing i was considering buying the lowest wattage hps i could find as a little boost. the article in the "times" article called "why led's no longer suck" was claiming that was the best lighting set up out now. but for 1/2 the price i can put 4 cfls on the corners of the tent and i feel could be just as effective if not better becuase i get added spectrums in the mix. any thoughts? any one tried this yet?bongsmilie

From my observation's almost every one running led's uses some sort of supplemental lighting. From the sounds of your grow i would avoid the hps unless you can deal with the heat they put off.Cfl's can be a great additive and i have found some nice 65 watt cfl's at Menard's for 15 bucks. These lights are almost 3 times the size of the normal cfl's and seem to be a good mix of color i believe they were around 4000 kelvin.
