Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was cut off from alcohol at a December fundraiser headlined by former President Donald Trump, according to CNN.

Boebert, who faces a difficult election battle after switching districts and coming under fire for vaping and groping at a Denver theater, was told by a server that “they would not bring her any more alcohol,” multiple witnesses told the outlet. One witness said that the server told Boebert they believed she had been “overserved,” according to the report.
"She also was trying to take pictures with Donald Trump and eventually Donald Trump's security detail stepped in and asked her to stop doing that, according to those who witnessed it that I spoke to,” CNN reporter Melania Zanaon said Friday.

"So just to be clear, basically: She went to a fundraiser in New York City with Donald Trump, got so drunk they had to cut her off?” questioned anchor Kasie Hunt. “And then tried to take repeated pictures with Trump, and then they had to tell her, 'Hey lady like tone it down,' according to the witnesses?"

"This is how it went down and I want to remind viewers here that this came a few months after she got in trouble and had to apologize for her conduct at a Denver theater where she was watching a performance, a musical performance of Beetlejuice, she got kicked out for vaping and being loud, and there's security footage of it,” Zanaon said.
“There was much more than vaping,” Hunt quipped.

“God is sending America strong signs to tell us to repent. Earthquakes and eclipses and many more things to come. I pray that our country listens,” Greene said Friday in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The Georgia lawmaker’s remarks came just hours after a 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit near Lebanon, N.J., about 50 miles from Manhattan. It was recorded at a depth close to 3 miles, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Greene’s comments also come as a total solar eclipse is expected to shroud parts of North America in darkness Monday.

It will travel from Texas to pass through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, according to NASA. Greene’s home state of Georgia is not in the “path of totality.”

It’s the first total solar eclipse since 2017, and the next one is not expected until August 2044, per NASA.

Greene has been derided for peddling conspiracy theories in the past, such as suggesting that California wildfires were caused by space lasers controlled by a powerful Jewish family. She has also backed former President Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen.

Greene defends claim that eclipse, earthquake signs to repent
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Sunday defended an earlier statement saying Monday’s eclipse and Friday’s New York-area earthquake were signs from God telling people to repent.

After two days of backlash, Greene addressed a community note that was added to provide context to her original post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. She said that while eclipses are predictable, they still are created by God and can be signs for those who believe.

“Many have mocked and scoffed at this post and even put community notes,” Greene said in Sunday morning’s post on X.

“Jesus talked about that in Luke 12:54-56,” Green continued. “Yes eclipses are predictable and earthquakes happen and we know when comets are passing by, however God created all of these things and uses them to be signs for those of us who believe.”

On Friday, an earthquake shook the New York region, which infrequently experiences such incidents. On Monday, people across the country will witness a total solar eclipse, a rare phenomenon that is next slated to occur in two decades.

In a post Friday, Greene wrote that “God is sending America strong signs to tell us to repent. Earthquakes and eclipses and many more things to come. I pray that our country listens.”

A community note was subsequently added, providing links to government resources.

“Earthquakes happen all the time, all around the world, we can follow them realtime using USGS resources,” it stated. “Eclipses are not random, they follow strict mathematical rules and can be predicted centuries before they happen. NASA has a site listing eclipses until the year 3000.”

Greene in 2021 apologized during a heated closed-door House GOP conference meeting for her past controversial remarks and embracing the QAnon conspiracy theory.

430 million gun / 333 million people, is almost identical to 430 million guns (+10 going to murderous crazy)/333 people.
