I know ewc is some good stuff. I have my own vermicompost in the shed in the backyard. Lots of creatures are messin around in there....i used some in a tea for my flood and drain setup. After that i got root aphids and something similar to nematodes....pretty sure it was because of the EWC. Is ewc still effective after sterilization? I guess ill get the nutritional value out of it but no bennies right? Any ideas that i can use to put this stuff to use?

Its NPK is usually pretty low, sterilizing would make it pretty much useless, the bacteria and whatnot is the main benefit of ewc. I've heard some soil brands have gone bunk within the last year, infestations and junk, idk your situation or setup but id just check all parts of your grow before you start pointing fingers at individual ingredients.

dude! your avater is trippy

i would try putting some fresh stuff with plenty of good bacteria into a tea, then pouring that onto your compost pile. hopefully the good stuff will start to take over the bad stuff?
