Without death there would be no evolution. Without evolution there would be no us.

Some people claim to know what happens after death, but in reality it's guesswork.

Death occurs when your brain is deprived of oxygen. After 4-6 min (in normal temps) the brain dies.
Happens to us all. All you can do is raise hell while you're here.

Our only definite purpose in life is death, this is the human fate. Everything we do is in preparation to die, and we have all these theories about life after death, how to live life before death, What it's like while we're dying. I think it's rather exciting because we finally get to traverse the REAL unknown. A path many have traveled but in a sense it is still your own, no one comes back from that journey to boast about it. We don't have photos, we don't have writings to prepare our minds for it, no one you know has been through it, no one you will EVER know has been through it.

Good stuff, good stuff indeed.

One of the reasons that people partake in extreme sports, like wingsuit flying, is to get closer to death. That is to say, death is an adrenaline rush. I'm sure that I will be some old fart in a hospital bed when my time comes and when it does I want to experience every minute of it, no matter how excruciating it may be.
