I got a huge dab of bho stuck in my hair tonight, and I thought I'd share my successful and easy method for getting it out:
Go to your fridge and grab a tub of butter. Go to the sink, or the shower, and grab a big dollop of said butter. Rub it around in your fingers to warm it up and then work it into your hair on the oil dab. Do this for about 5 minutes, you'll make a big mess, but it's better than chopping your hair off. Then, rinse out the oily-butter with hot water-as hot as you can stand, and repeat. That should be good. Wash your hair, and try not to do it anymore
