Ethylene gas adsorber upon air intake

I don't see a product like this for indoor growing. Potassium permanganate pellets in the Shell of a (empty) carbon filter would work.
Makes co2 and h2o out of ethylene gas.

Considerations
Potassium permanganate is an aquatic environmental toxic... disposal considerations
3lbs lasts 1-3 months
Does it make air hazardous by other reactions? - does it need a pre filter to the filter?

Ethylene gas
Plant hormone that causes ripening released into the air by plants in the fall.
Other sources: cigarette smoke, diesel fumes, ripening fruit

Extend flowering times, more fruit/flower

You will come aground on kinetics. (the speed of reactions)

Permanganate will oxidize ethylene, but it'll take hours or days.

You're better off with carbon (nonspecific adsorber) or something with silver ion. Silver ion applied foliar(ly) is used to locally suppress ethylene activity. That is the basis for "reversing" sprays, so ethylene does more than just ripen stuff.

Got equations? Don't make me whip out the chemistry text. I'm supposed to be on 'holiday'.

Hmmm...that seems to imply there would be a maximum rate of ethylene suppression (at least directly) if the goal is to do what the OP desires. But wouldn't higher rates of air exchange have a similar effect, then?
