she didn't misplace the state, she meant to say that she would understand the concern more if arizona had a border the size of texas' border. simple misstatement.

i haven't checked what kind of a degree this lady has, but if it is anythning more than a COMMUNITY COLLEGE degree, then she is more educated then gov Bruja.

i do not have mind reading capabilities. i read her comments about the incident in an article. that is her explanation recanted roughly by me.

ridiculous and false claims come from the other side of the debate too, just look at Brewer's recent remarks, or McCain's. the REAL scary thing is that those two assclowns are in charge of a lot more than big-boned lady ever will be....

each side of every debate trots out these buffoons that supposedly represent the opposite faction. there always seem to be as many people willing to make excuses for such clowns as there are willing to perpetuate a partisan stereotype. that the woman is a fool should be obvious to anyone with even a partially open mind and any attempt to reason away her idiocy is a waste of time. that the woman should be held out as typical of those on her side of the argument is as much a partisan ploy as any apologies forwarded for her ignorance.

while i don't doubt that she may very well represent the mediocrity that government at any level aspires to, i'm equally sure that most in her misguided camp are not so insipid as she has proved herself to be. i wish we could judge these matters on their merits and not on the inanity of their most vocal proponents and opponents, but this is the sorry pass our politicking has come to. we spend more time concerning ourselves with trying to make the other side look foolish than we do advancing the merits of our own points of view. we are given bogus statistics by agenda driven specialists and we make up our minds on the subject. we are then given the talking points of our political animals, telling us why they have legislated contrary to the will of their constituents.

Not just sounded stupid UB , she looked stupid.Who addresses a crowd without studying the material ? Who else thinks Arizona does not share its border with Mexico ?
