Energy saving light bulbs - same as CFLs??

As above really,

want to use one or two CFLs for vegging and already have a few 100w (1100 lumen) energy saving ones about. Are they the same and can i use them?

well I doubt they are 100 watters probably 23 watters equal to a 100 watt reg bulb. You can use them but you ll need about 10 or so.Better off geting a 2 4 foot bulb florescent shop light for $8.If you use the cfls get the blue/white spectrum not the red colored light

right. if it says egual to 100 watts blah blah,..that means its actually 23 watts giving the same power as 100 watss of old incandescent. they are cheap, so get at least 4 (100 watts or so) i grew 2 kush plants on just 2 23 watt power saving cfls.
