Dr Greenthumb Seeds, Canada check this strain out. I may buy it.
I grew endless sky 3 grows ago. I have been growing a long time but I guess my growing meathods did not agree with the plant. I was not happy with the results. I ended up with some good bud BUT it was not even close to white widow. Ill never buy it again but just because it didnt work well for me doesn't mean it wont for you

I bought some endless sky.
Also had some troubles with them when they are young. The leaves would turn brown like mold or rusty, slowly moving thru the plant as it grew. Same conditions as the rest of my plants these were the only affected. We will see I have some new one germinated right now on thier 2nd set of leaves, so far so good. keep in touch.

Just a quick update. The endless sky I have are a couple of weeks old and doing the same shit as last time I tried. I'll post pics next time I do pics. All my other seedlings are in the same conditions and doing fine, including the indoor mix from greenthumb.
Bassically once they have 3-4 nodes the oldest leaves start turning brown like a nute burn at the tips and continue to kill the leaf, just as the newest set of leaves come out good the next set of older leaves starts it. I don't know I feel it's a waste of time for me to figure out what is the issue wit hthese. I'm debating sending greenthumb a msg bout this. I don't want to knock ne breeders but I've heard alot of knockin on this one.

right on dude, so glad you checked in. yeah, i got endless sky. theyre suffering and i can't seem to get any ideas from other people on how to work with em. this is my first ggrow and theyr doing some weird stuff. i got pics posted in teh sick plant section. for some reason i don't seem to be able to post anymore right now (my proxy?)
anyway, they keep getting splotchy light green then a sortof yellow-brown out towards the tips and that works it way iin to the stems. as newer leaves come in the older bottom set starts to die off and they get completely brittle. ive had em in since dec 28 from seed. now about 4 inches with aobut 4-5 nodes. newst leaves starting to get alot thinner than the first ones. don't know if normal or not. wondering if this keeps happning or what? will they bud when i go to flower or will i even be able to get that far? i talked to the doc about them and he wasn't especially helpful -- told me to talk to my fert company cuz he's never had probs wit em before. Dunno, reading your post sounded alot like what i got here and i aint about to call GH to discuss my situation. Would love to see your pics if you got em. Take a look at miine if you can. The post is: What the? Like Mexiblunts?

Good luck with yours and let me know how they come out. Peace

i've grown out endless sky and have more beans for later. this is some very strong smoke. e.s. is "very" nute sensitive. you can't even keep the bottles in the same room, lol! i suggest backing off a couple hundred ppm at a time till you get it dialed in.

hey growbot. ok, i've backed off to about 120 for now. hoping this helps. when you grew did you experience anything llike this? do you think this is just too many nutes? wondering if i jumped the gun a bit when they were too young for feeding...

hey asazo, you posted that you started these from seed on dec. 28th? that's not even 3 weeks. you should have just recently started nutes. i think you're overfeeding them. i don't know what your ppm is now, but i'd be at around 200-250 and no more. this is a very nute shy strain.

no kidding? argh!!! i got em at 120 right now and they're looking hurt. how do you recommend i take em up to 200 -- i mean should i do it slowly, over a week or something like that, or should i bump them up right now.

oh man, i can't believe it. have you seen their pics? i got em on my post in the sick plant section. if you can, please look at em and tell me what you think. do you think i can still salvage them at this point? thanks again

guess i didn't catch the part about not starting nutes til about this time.

Yeah that sounds like endless sky alot of people have problems and they give up on the strain. It is very touchy with nutrients at a young age and then when people correct the problem and it starts growing bigger then it will start getting deficiencies from not having enough nutrients but once you get it dialed in the potency is right up there with og kush and to be honest I thought it was stronger.

I just harvested Endless Sky on 12-1-10...after 5 days hanging...and two weeks or so in curing jars...I can tell you this stuff is every bit as good as White Widow or anything else...it is definitely a bit finicky with nutes...and I did get some rust spotting in veg., but once I put them under the 600W HPS for flowering...they grew like wild, doubled in size in a week and a half...still had a slight degree of rust spotting on some fan leaves (nothing over whelming, just enough spots to be of slight concern...caused me to flush them a time or two extra...)...but the end result was superior grade weed that kicks ass big time...and it flowered in 46 days to the point of 1/3 amber trich's...there is a school of thought that 50% amber trich's crosses over into degradation, so I havested at around 33% amber with VERY satisfying results...and a fine yield of 6 oz. dry bud from 5 plants (22" - 26") under 1 600W Hortilux HPS light...I would recommend this strain to those who want something that flowers fast with a solid indica HIGH power kick...LOL...one hit and you know you are smoking excellent weed, indeed!

I should probably also add that ES is pH sensitive...and any spots/defects may be traced to pH nute lockout, I had a bit of pH problems (low) when I first got the rust spots...I got the pH stabilized and the spots decreased dramatically...and, of course, flowering any strain tends to fix problems, IMO...I would recommend to watch your pH closely to minimize any problems...I grew in soil, Fox Farm Ocean Forest & perlite mix from day one...LOL...and survivied with flying colors...ES & FFOF...lol...talk about 'sensitive'...nute and pH finicky strain...and a 'hot' soil that's a bit finicky itself...you just have to watch the plants...they will tell you everything if you pay attention!

They are not pH sensitive..... it's a calcium issue and you need to supplement with some cal/mag. Look it up- rust spots are a calcium deficiency. 10ml per gallon is enough to take care of any deficiency but continue to add 5ml cal/mag every watering from then on. It's pH range in normal, 6.2-6.3 in pro-mix works like a charm.........

How could someone talk so much trash about ES like that. I love Endless Sky but some growers (caregivers) don't get it. Yes it's hard to grow but who said that the Best and Fastest indica was gonna be easy? Lol
This strain will test your patience but will definitely reward the patient.

Dr. GreenThumb has stopped advertising this strain in his ads. There are numerous complaints about the strain out there and it's reported Dr. lost the parents and started over anew, which is causing many problems. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS STRAIN. Go with almost any of Dr.'s other strains and you'll be a lot happier in the long run. I just harvested 19 plants and it was my worse grow in over 3 years........

Newb growers. And no Dr. Greenthumb did not take down their add for E.S.
It's just too bad that you aren't a more experienced grower so you could really reap the benefits of E.S.
