Don't they say you'd have to smoke like 15,000 joints in 15 minutes? Hell, you'd probably die from the smoke inhalation alone long before the THC would kill you.
Maybe you could find some dispensaries to "donate" to your cause... the cause being, of course, the first human being to die from THC overdose. Someone get Guinness on the phone!

It is more expensive to execute a prisoner than it is to keep them encarcerated for life. That's what that first link in the OP is talking about.
I completely agree with JO's post, Doob is dropping some good knowledge too.
What are the goals of capital punishment? Does the current system accomplish those goals?

the only reason the death penalty cost so much is because we do it in a retarded manner. japan has it on lock, set a date of execution the appeals process can not interfere with, they still hang people i think, which is alot cheaper
so its simple really
dont let prisoners stay on death row for more than a year, a death sentence is final, and especially now with DNA evidence, death penalties are reserved only for the guilty. (i dare you to find someone who is wrongfully on death row since the past like 7 years)
secondly, revert to the firing squad or hanging, very cheap, humane, and its super quick and about as painless as it gets

I'm from Texas and if there is one policy that I know will stick around forever in my state, it's the Death Penalty.
I think we kill more criminals than almost all of the other death penalty states combined, or some other insane number. Speaking of insane, that doesn't protect you here either, nor does being handicapped.

I have the extreme displeasure of living in the state that's second only to Texas in the number of executed criminals.
Even being second, you guys have us beat 4:1. So far this year, we've only executed 1... but the DC sniper is up next. I guess I'm a hypocrite, because I don't feel bad AT ALL that he's going to get it. I remember when the snipings were going down, being scared to pump freaking gas or walk through the parking lot of the mall to go shopping. Fucking ridiculous....

lol yeah, that was some pretty crazy shit... Lucky I'm on the west coast, didn't have to worry much about it personally... but didn't that guy shoot kids, elderly, women, men... anyone was a target? End it immediately. I say take all hard core inmates and give them a choice, life in prison or being dropped out of an airplane at 25,000 ft with an M-16 and 500 rounds of ammo over Wajiristan. If you make it back to the USA, a full pardon. BTW, you must bring back at least 25 pairs of ears.

The "never-ending appeals process"? Wtf are you smoking? You know a superior court judge can DENY an appeal, right? (silly question, obviously you don't or you wouldn't have made that ridiculous statement). I'd say that's a pretty solid end to the appeals process, being DENIED an appeal.
