End of grow problem

Morning all, I've had my garden going for quit a while. https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/49405-does-sound-do-able-3.html I'm 37 days into flowering and my plants look sick. My older leaves are turning yellow and wilting. I'm guessing it's root rot because I see roots growing out of the pots and into the autovalves. I've inceased the light, I've added more fans and put air rocks in the Autovalves. I also cut back on the Fluids. My ph is 6.0 and my PPM is 950. I've leached the pots and I don't know what else I can do. It would be such a waste if I lost this grow, so close yet so far away. Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

To me it looks like overwatering. May or may not have led to Root Rot.
I'm not familiar with your system (Autopots)? Can u describe it or post a link to your that.

yellowing of the older leaves during flowering is perfectly normal so don't trip on those. The plant uses up all the available N, which it gets from the leaves during flowering. Once the plant has used all the nutes from the leaves, they begin to turn yellow and the plant sheds them naturally. Don't try to fix it by giving them N, just keep given them whatever flowering nutes ur usin and watch em grow :peace:

Thankis, I've been told everything from give it more food to give it only water. My know it all wife told me in a few days everything will be dead and I'll never make 7 to 9 weeks in flowering.

True, some yellowing should be expected, but in that case they yellow out more uniform, when it is spotty like that it usualy means the roots need more oxygen.

The only problem I saw with the design on the Autopots is that once the water is allowed into the valve it sits there stagnent, if you aerate that you should be fine. To lessen the chances of root rot, I would empty out the system for a day or 2 and let the medium / root zone dry out a little if u can.

Exactly what I did already, I've added air rocks. TY

Give her a lil shot of nitrogen..that should perk it up, but that is somewhat normal for that late in flower. The plant is focusing on the bud and less on the leaves

Then all u have to do is sit back and wait. Cut off the damaged sections of leaf now so u can evaluate progress in a few days. If the spots slow down u are in the right direction...

is wayne brady gonna have to choke a bitch?:fire:

naw jus playin it's normal for a maturing plants big old fanleaves to start turning yellow, ur pH is a little high for a hydro setup but in that case it shouldn't lead to root rot, 4 root rot to thrive u need a lower pH bcuz that encourages fungi growth.

i say just give it a nice shot of N and try to lower the pH just a wee bit. u're higher pH may be causing a lil bit of lockout

also the problem with auto watering systems is that for weed to grow robust roots it needs to go thru a period of "dry" so to speak to let the roots search for water and nutes even in aero sytems it goes thru a period of dry but if u're system gives it water whenever it gets even a lil dry u end up with shallower roots and that do have as good nute intake as other plants.

hope i helped a lil bit here hit this lol:joint:

Hi again, I've added air stones to the valves, I've manually closed the main feed valve, I've increased light and air. And I've lowered the Nuits from 60F to 55F.

thanks

Coco soaks up moisture fairly well, at least in my experience it does. Perlite does not retain too much water. If the res is constantly got water in it and the coco is touching that water then I would def say its an over watering problem. Have you tried to let the system dry out a bit? Sounds like you have tried everything else and have done a good job so far. You would be amazed at how much actual abuse these plants can endure and still flower out.

Hi All, I hope the weekend has been good to all of you. As far as my garden goes, I've lowered the PH to 5.3, lowered the PPM to 850 added air stones to the valves and flushed the shit out of the pots with distilled water. By the time the fluids get from the tank to the valves it heats up. Think of it as a drip that comes in from the bottom. I'm not arguing, I'm just questioning, I've been using this system for 3 months, why should it be overwatering at this time?

I have to finish this grow ASAP my old lady is giving me a super hard time. The bitch even told me she's leaving me (who gives a shit) I wouldn't feel safe doing this with her out of the house. She's going to be history by Thanksgiving cause I'm going to serve her with divorce papers. Don't marry them until you live with them, this one is VISIOUS and will try to fuck me good. Thank God for Pre-nups she gets nothing. Sorry about venting.

Thanks

I'm aware of that and she is so vindictive she just might fuck herself if she opens her mouth. She is a registered Nurse and if they test her her job is history. Her father died last week so she is pre-occupied right now.
