Total legalization across the country.... no cards, no md's ..18 and over can buy from a store or from a grower on the street...each state can charge 100$ a year for a grow license and growers pay income tax on sales.testing facilities available to get product checked for harmful chems and insecticides and for potency...This would create many legit jobs and the price would drop 50% across the board..schwag would be a thing of the past and the cartels would be cut out completely..home grown american green would be available to anyone at a good price.

I would highly:bigjoint:agree with corso on this one. Create the jobs and legit market.

I would still make it illegal for bob harris...

maybe the LEO's who are displaced by a reasonable approach to Cannabis legalization could start up a douche patrol for the bobs of the world???

I would hire one or two out of work cops to work security and wash my car, sweep up the floors and trim:fire:

I would ban any and all former leo and associated persecutors of marijuana users and sellers from participating in any legal marijuana endeavors for a period of twenty years from the start of leaglization.
Mandate a check box on employment forms!
Anything less is akin to allowing former slave owners to write emancipation rules.

Then I would give the layed off cops $100 and a bus ticket home after escorting them off the premises under armed guard.

Personally i believe that full legalization result would be quite different from what many have in mind. The reality would be cheap schwag grown in china sold at cut throat price at every Wall-Mart taking everybody else out of business. As long as it's illegal it keep the price high & money in our pocket instead of the importing weed & exporting money as we do with everything else.

If I had my way there'd be a constitutional amendment that forebade marijuana from appearing anywhere in US or state law.

I think it's important to keep it out of the hands of kids.
-Legalize it for those 21 and older.
-Only allow it to be grown in a locked facility so the local highschool kids can't just run into your yard and hack up your plants.
-Develop non invasive blood thc level testing.
-Stiff penalties for those who sell/give to minors
-Maybe some sort of adult districting or some sort of place where open drug use is aloud while keeping the general public family friendly(a place for everything and everything in its place)
-Strict rules regarding the thc levels(.05% or less would do) for industrial hemp...again, don't want your kids stealing cannabis plants from hemp farms to get high.

Stay out of my medical life. That would be mine.

Ultimately I agree with total legalization for all adults.

you shouldn't be taxed on it. you paid tax on all the equipment and the power . why do you guys think you need to pay uncle sam for something he will throw you in prison for.

So you think a guy can go to Iraq or Afghanistan and get his legs blown off but he needs to wait 3 years after that to smoke a joint?..that is retarded...If you can drink a beer on a boat or at a bar b q then you should be able to smoke a joint..cigs are more harmful and you can smoke those in public, and alcohol kills tens of thousands yearly..locked facility? it is not a nuclear bomb..it is a harmless plant..how bout you teach your kid not to steal, and if he does not listen ..my dog will reinforce the lesson to his stupid ass when he sneaks in my yard to steal.

Why? If they aren't smoking joints they're huffing paint or doing lines. Pot is not harmful in any way, in fact it's neuroprotective and limits the amount of brain damage suffered from teenage binge drinking. It's better to let them smoke their reefer than to have them doing something that's actually dangerous instead.
