Emergency Response Plan??? Save my last survivor!

Here are the pics this is her in recovery I'm wondering if it's normal for the small new fan leaves to do the claw kinda thing? Don't remember seeing much claw leaves in my past grows is this a deficiency or still just damage from the root rot ? We saved her from certain death now let's make her shine! Hey and they gave me a like button finally! Movin on up :bigjoint:

could be too much N or too hot. i'd try 2 things: dump the res and give her just plain water (5.8 ph) and the Atak for 24hrs. also raise your light up some more. maybe 30 inches away.

after the flush, try just the B52, Atak and pH'd water for a day or 2. the B vitamins will help her recover. then try to add the nutes again at a low PPM.

don't feel like you need to get her back to full strength nutes in a hurry. this is a marathon, not a sprint.

.

From the pictures does it look like I need to flush again even tho I did a 48hr flush less than a week ago? My roots are looking great now by the way I can now vouch for Atak it saved my plants life lol I'm trying not to sprint but after all this back pedaling I feel like I need to make up for lost time haha

I would flush. 24hrs won't really set you back much at all. and if the clawing clears up,, then you know it was too much N too soon.

until i finally got my rdwc really dialed in, i would flush for 24hrs once a week. never hurt the overall growth or buds.
keep using that Atak for the rest of the grow.

after the flush, try the b52 and plain water for a day or 2. she wont' mind.

if you search for dwc or hydro issues, almost all articles will recommend dumping and flushing for 24hrs before you do anything else.

So got home and the issue was already clearing up on its own and on top of that I had a bunch of new roots nice and white coming out of the pot it's safe to say we completed this mission thanks guys. I cleaned the res with bleach and since she was looking good upped nutes to 300 and after 9hrs not sign of burn an she looks great

If temp is your issue a small auscilating fan will assist in keeping temps at least in the plant zone down 5-10 degrees.
Just my opinion. Don't have to go fancy all the time, albeit ideal -_-

For sure I got one where should the air be directed ? And also my growth seems really slow still she is green leaves are perky roots look good temps are in check I'm just used to much faster like noticeable daily growth usually and I'm not really seeing it my ph is dailed in and corrected daily but also she seems to drink very little water for 3 weeks veg from a clone. What can we do to speed her up or at least get her to advance consistently ? Thanks guys I'll tell you when this crop is done I'm dedicating the first blunt to all of you here who helped make it possible :bigjoint:

i've always used 24/0 for veg for tighter node spacing and faster growth.

as long as the main variable are OK (pH, humidity, temps, etc) all you can do is let her do her thing. if most of the roots were affected, it will take a while for it to rebound. w

when were you thinking of flipping to 12/12? is your tent only 5 ft tall? you'll have to take into consideration that you need some space between the tent top and the light and some space between the light and the plant and the height of the buckets too.

Yeah only 5 feet my thing is the plant isn't even a foot tall would flowering it say next week affect my yield a ton? I also I checked my calendar I've been growing her 21 days I realize the issues I had with rot played a huge role in my less than vigorous growth rates I'll post a picture tonight I'm almost at the point of saying screw it and flowering so I can just wrap this grow up and do better with my next cycle what are your thoughts brotha?

I would direct the fan facing the plant as if it's in a light breeze.

as far as slow growth, I'd assume overwatering ( in dwc not enough aeration to the roots. More air stones or bigger air pump otherwise they're drowning. And if growth doesn't resume I'd lower nutrients until you see results. Then return to normal. They thrive in survival mode. High nutrient uptake/low moisture.

my issues with root rot came about halfway during flower when i was doing single buckets so you were lucky that you can fix the issues and then go into flower. i wasn't that lucky and what looked like some really nice buds never got big.

plants will usually at least double in height during the first 2 weeks of flower. i would say 14 days or less as long as you are getting new white roots and seeing some growth up top. she is probably concentrating more energy on root production/recovery which is good. when you switch to flower, her roots will be in good shape and then she can concentrate on flowering.

just look at this as one of many lessons in this great hobby to learn. some you have to learn the hardway. one thing to check now is that when it is dark, that it is ABSOLUTELY dark. no glows from leds on powerstrips, light leaks in the tent etc. that will mess up your flowering too.

Any theory on why she isn't drinking much water I mean I drew a line where the h2o was yesterday and 24 hrs later hadn't moved never seen that before in any if my hydro grows

hmmm. that is unusual.

hate to sound like a broken record: dump res and give her a 24hr flush with water/Atak. see what happens.
