Ive looked through the forums, books, etc. and it all looks like spanglish to me. it could either be this or that and this is my first go at growing. Im just generally confused and dont want to f up.

Ive got a rubbermaid growbox with 6 24w bulbs, temp at 75° They are in Jiffy organic seed starter mix on a 16/8 cycle . Just started using superthrive (2 drop per gallon) and they recieved 2nd dose yesterday . They've looked like this before hand and ive only watered when the soil is nearly dry.

In advance, thanks guys for all the advice. :)

I presume you're using 6500k bulbs. What's the reasoning behind the 16/8 cycle? You could go 24/0 and they'd grow faster. You appear to have yellowing and burning though... hmm....

Actually looks like underwatering. Keep that soil moist, don't let it get to the point of being dry, or nearly dry. You don't want it saturated but seedlings need to have moist roots till they get some size and stregth.

most people dont use nutes this early in life for there is a high chance of nute burn but i have heard of people using superthrive to help with reducing the shock from transplanting and have heard it used to help with germination. why is youre cycle 16/8 most people use 18/6 or 24/0

I only have checked it once, it was at a neutral 7. I bought the stupid pill in a vial pack at wal mart. I need to find something better and cheaper(in the long run).

You are drying those babies right out!!! These plants are tough but they need water (lots of it) to thrive. Also, ditch those flouros and a get a real growing light. I see you're getting into the different nutes and they will unfortunately get you only so far with lights you are using. Good luck.

clear cups are probably not the way to go... the roots like to touch the edges of the cups but if there is light your gunna have problems. slip that cup into another solo cup that is not clear.
