Elite Busted - take down grow operation?

shut down and get rid of your grow. if they are busting him it means they want to bust as many as possible related to this lead they have. which i would say is probable.


get rid of everything now and enjoy the fact that you can sleep comfotably at night.

your cheap ass can by weed for a little while until this all blows over

or give all your gear to a good freind and take part of the harvey so you have weed while u patienly wait

what about some of us legal med patients? if we are not running anything over the legal limit should we have anything to worry about?

im just saying out of an abundence of caution. chances are theres nothing to worry about for anyone.

Do federal agents respect state laws about medical marijuana? Very peculiar legal system where you can do something legally according to one level of government while it's illegal by another.

Oh man. Are you in the same state? Not being from the US I don't know how zealous the law enforcement is about personal grow ops. Did you send in a deposit or just waiting for new strains?

Here's a site that has more info on Canadian/USA pot trafficking and about the DEA involvment in Canada,(www.cannabisfacts.ca) and I think it's really the same up here as far as leniency in the court system and how popular/good ur lawyer is, I know fellas that got nailed to the wall, and other fellas that pretty much walked on serious charges, really also depends how much revenue an agency can spend, if you're careful, you're making their job harder which is more costly.

i send my order a few days before they were to be released.
And no, im in the legal state of CA. got my prescription. so im not sure how this bust might affect me.

I don't think anyone ordering a 5 or 10 pack of seeds here and there will be someone they will be looking. The feds will be after big people. Big growers, big seed buyers. They wont be worried about the guy with a 3 in his closet. What they can do, and do very easy with minimal work really is make a phone call to your local popo office and leave it up to them. I'm guessing elite had a lot of customers and emails from growers about seeds. Theres no way they can chase everyone. But you never know if your the one they are looking at. All it takes is an anonymous tip to start an investigation. The significance of that tip is doubled if it came from an LEO.

Chances are you'll be fine. but you can never know for sure.

i've had 2 seed orders seized about a yr andd a haf ago,and i'm still here.i think theyll jus keep thier money .about it. i'd have a hard time thinking about ditchin a pound of blueberry and some,lol less i knew. over a seed order gon sour.

It's kind of a grey area at the moment. Local and state police can't bust a medical grow that obeys state and county law even if it violates federal law unless they bring in federal police.

Federal police can ignore state and county laws entirely if someone is violating federal law. However Obama and Holder have said federal police will respect state/county laws and even though they CAN bust people for violating those laws they won't.

However the DEA has used marijuana growing (even medical) as probably cause to search places and bust people for other drugs and/or illegal weapons, money laundering, etc.

As long as you don't have other naughty things at your spot or cash exceeding $10k you should be in good shape if you have a medical permit and are in compliance with state/county law. But if you have even a small amount of other drugs, an unregistered gun, or $10,001 cash then you are fucked and will get charged on the other stuff + the grow op.

Make sure your grow is 100% compliant with your counties law and your grow permit and a copy of your doctor's recommendation is displayed on the wall in your grow room and you don't really have anything to worry about as long as you're not in lake county or kings county. (cops there seem to be on a crusade)

Feds may not be interested in people who ordered 10 seeds but all it takes is one fax to their local police and depending on how liberal your city/county is you can get busted. Narcos are professionals. They raid grow houses for a living. They realize people order small seed packs and cut clones from them.

Better to be safe.

I live on the central coast...they'd have to wade through a sea of weed just to get here! I don't think I'm gonna' be extradited (backhoed again in indiana).

were kinda like dust in the wind.no one knows where it comes or where it goes,jus that its dust.lol.

sheriff's dept.s and other law enforcement agencies operate on $$$ something every level of government is seriously short of. that means prioritization. we're smaller than small fish. there's plenty of REAL crime they haven't got the money to chase...that's the way it is.
