electrical setup

hello everyone,

im trying to build a small grow box in my room and so this is what im thinking of doing but im not sure if its going to work from the electrical wireing stand point so here it goes...

i want to run from a wall outlet to a timer switch on the box and have a power bar wired to the switch and then just plug in the light holders to the power bar so that then if i want to add more lights or remove i can do so as i please

would this work? anyone see any electrical issues occuring? i wanna try it but dont want to start a fire hahaha

you'll be fine, thats what I do when I muliple lights on the same timer, just make sure your not going over the power bar rated amp's usually 15-20 if your running less than 3-400w lighs youll be OK
