Id be getting the 4 light model
Timber growlights are a legacy sponsor here on the forum. Tag @RainDan for advice im pretty sure they have discounts for the forum and blackfriday. I have NEVER seen anyone complain about their timber light. But they might need a bit of hanging bheight since its mostly highpowered cobs. Their new strip light looks really good but i feel its a bit light on diode count for its wattage.

Im interested in them. I hope they have excellent penetration for the money. I wanna grow those huge buds you see when you know the guy has epic lighting and nutrient recipe. I got the nutrients covered. Just need the lights now

I think i grew some pretty good colas. Most you can't put your fingers around. But it was a ton of work getting them that far with the low budget lights i used. I keep thinking my yields would be far better with a good light

Nutrients is not that important. Well of course you have to have them but you dont need to pay top$$. If youre stateside Jacks 321 works wonder and is cheap. Alotta people just use one part megacrop. The real important thing for great grows with bigger buds is climate and making sure you have enough roots. More roots more fruits

Amare Shill
This is the light Im gonna buy, if its discounted enough for black friday. To hit my budget they'll need to knock 20% off that 695 price tag. Luckily I found another company that impressed me. Timber. The lights are built to order here in the states, meanwell drivers. Check out the design and heat sinks. You should you tube search it too https://www.happyhydro.com/products/timber-grow-lights-model-4vl?variant=18913343963203&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=Cj0KCQiA48j9BRC-ARIsAMQu3WSWtIJvu4Ob_da8lOS2-HYXExoFcRk_fVnwZBD1ycsK71hasV3H128aAh4vEALw_wcB
IMHO you'll be glad you did when your yeilds are a few oz more per light id be doing some Jiggiloing or something to get the ES's. 20% Ain't nothing compared to the gains. I like Timber. I like Dan but they have failed to innovate. I get it, if it ain't broke why fix it.
The ES will be easier to grow under & has That red Tail with 680 out to 780. Makes a huge difference in yeilds. A Spectrum like that can substitute .5 umols/j of plain white i imo.
But you can't go wrong with Timber.
Just my Opinion, ill be gone now! Good luck with whatever you choose.
If I was to truly recommend a light for you it would be the Amare Bar-6 being released in a few weeks.

Thats what i use. Jack's 3,2,1. 5-12-26, 15-0-0 cal nitrate and epsom. Every other watering and recharge, house and gardens aminos, tribus grow bacteria during veg, tribus bloom bacteria during flower, house and gardens root Excelurator during veg, golden tree, Neptune's harvest 0-0-1 with sweet sticky in between

I, like most want the most bang for my buck. Penetration, and coverage is very important to me. Ive seen over a pound cured bud off one auto flower and thats my goal too. I want those buds that need to be supported with sticks lol. Ill be lucky to have a pound off 4 plants. Which aint bad, but i wanna see how far i can go

695 is out of my budget though. If its discounted enough ill pull the trigger on the 300. Unless I get more impressed with timber

I like the kingbright 320 watts. They cheap and do a good job. They also use Samsung diodes. They run $230 on alibaba.
I appreciate that input. But I want customer service and warranty that's here in the states. I learned my lesson about not having good customer service. I plugged up a brand new Valspectra par 600 on August 21. In a few days around 20 bulbs were no longer working. Valspectra would not honor the warranty because i purchased it through Amazon

Ya they offer a year warranty. I think there great budget lights, just dont have the warranty as some other companies. I'd rather save some bucks and get a more powerful chines one. Hell your is probably chinese and just branded ad an American company. Its your choice, but I understand. As for me, kingbright is the way to go.

Theres ways of making a china buy work, without much warranty. Like driving it a bit softer, 240 for a 320 light and getting your driver in your country. Not familiar with valspectra. But from the boards ive bought from Meijiu i have 0 out of more than 20000 diodes die on me. Just drive it softer, and it will last forever and be more efficient.
Of a well soft driven design the only part that is likely to break in any way is the driver, but you can get this locally, froom digikey or arrow.

Im sold on the Timber model. Thanks for all your help, guys. I feel a little guilty jumping ship this way, because Electric Sky really went out of their way to help me. But unless something changes, Im buying the 2 x 5 coverage model. I forget the model but it has those long green heat sinks and used to have a reflectors on each light.
