GG, what do you recommend for dosage for someone ingesting RSO that has never had it before and is taking it for medicinal reasons (cancer)? Is it based on body weight?

Also, what dosage should they try to work up to? This is a very petite female (I'm guessing no more than 100lbs).

Thanks
I would not base it on body weight. Nobody really knows yet.
The actual amount you want to get to per day is one gram. That is so vague. The potency differences between oils can be very big. It is really difficult to say what the right dosage is. With a quality made oil, where quality indoor grown buds were used, a gram per day is a good goal.

I recommend starting off small, and sticking with three equal size doses per day. If it is somewhat of an emergency and the goal is to build up a tolerance ASAP, there are natural things that can aid in somewhat retarding the intense effects of the cannabis. I am sorry, but I cannot remember what the herbs or components are. I do know that Xanax and Valium help. These may need to be taken a few times per day. I recommend for treating serious cancer, playing it safe and get up to one gram per day. If you believe that the oil is of a weak potency, maybe shoot for two grams per day. If the oil is elite, top notch stuff, 1/2 gram per day may be plenty.

So, start off with small doses to get accustomed to the effects. A rule of thumb is a dose the size of a grain of rice to start and build up from there. You have to take three doses per day, in my opinion, to be able to build up a tolerance. The recommended duration is 5 months minimum. For some cases, it is shorter, and others longer.

I just heard a miracle story yesterday, and I believe it. An elderly gentleman was on his death bead with stage 4 lung cancer. His sons and others supplied him with RSO and after 4 months of treatment with the oil, he is now cancer free.

For me, 6 months has been the time frame with my personal experiences.

Hope this helps.

I truly believe that this is the future of smoking or vaping cannabis. After trying one of these, I have no interest in smoking joints anymore. There are some downsides of course. It can be very expensive. It may not be a good choice for someone that does not have will power and self control! For me, it is very easy to just keep consuming it. It is enjoyable and comfortable. I don't need more, but it just seems to come natural to keep hitting the vape. I guess I like it a little too much. All you need is one of the two vapes I mentioned, or something you already have. It just boils down to getting your hands on some good quality RSO. I am sure BHO and other concentrates would probably work too, although, it may be a bit more difficult to make them work. If you have RSO it only takes a couple of minutes to mix the PG USP in it. Just suck it back up into a syringe and you can pretty much use it in most e-cigarette devices.

I started a blog to help point people in the right direction, so they don't waste a lot of money finding the right tool. I must apologize the blog is at MMMA, kind of embarrassing to me. It was convenient for me though. I will keep updating the information as it becomes available. You may find the information helpful.

I hate joints, so I primarily use a small metal pipe. Once on a while, a glass pipe or water bong. I have an Atmos Raw, but its not built for everyday use. Totally jealous of my friends who can now vape nicotine at bars...I want to vape Mary Jane!

I would drive to Ann Arbor or Detroit if I knew for sure I could buy cartridges.

Thanks for the blog link, will definitely read it!!!

Fuck them cartridges!!! An the haters, G pen all the way !!! Load your hits or dabs an puff away.
I agree, I don't really care for the carts. MJ vaporizers are pretty much fake. They have used parts from e-cigarettes and use them in ways that they were not intended to be used.

The G Pen works the way it is supposed to. However, the G Pen is like a $15 e-cigarette and they put their name on it. It is one of the lowest quality e-cigarettes that you can buy. They work well when they don't break. Most of the pen style set ups do break easy.

By far my favorite are the clearomizer attachments and the cartomizer attachments. I prefer to use the cartomizer attachment the way it is intended to be used. It is supposed to be submerged in a tank style set up.

The cartridges that go on the end of a common e-cigarette, the heating element is called an automizer. When you actually purchase quality e-cigarette equipment you can choose whatever resistance automizer you want to work with different voltages. Same with most of the other attachments, such as the clearomizer. These parts for e-cigarettes are usually high quality and only cost a small fraction of what the mj companies sell these parts for. One example: A lot of the mj companies sell a vaporizer specifically for dabs. A lot of times, all it is is an automizer. You put your dab on directly on the heating element. The heating element of an automizer was not designed to be used that way. That causes the coil to get too hot which leads to premature failure and higher temperatures which will burn the oil instead of vaporizing it.

Sorry, too much vaping today, tends to make me ramble........

GG - Haters gone hate, G pens are quality. Clearomizer's an like products are inferior products for the same people who buy everything off eBay an amazon just to get a good deal on some pos product. I've NEVER had a problem with my g pen or my atmos their both top notch. Like they say you get what you pay for. But The people will decide for themselves. Just my personal opinion.Edit: I've had the atmos for a little over a year an the g pen for 7 months issue free. Shit I've only had to charge my g pen 5 times in those seven months an I smoke it consistently all day.

Check out the Edison if your lookin to hit wax. I've used a boatload of these things cheap and expensive. Raw, G pen, 2 weird portable butane ones, and the EDISON is amazing. i almost puked earlier it hit so hard and i was not expecting it. i got the water dab pipes to take the big blasters but this thing definitely hangs in there with them, gets ya ripped.

O i forgot to mention, $60 bucks.

It was Edabz.com it says they have a site coming soon. Id put it in the ballpark of the gpen or the Raw atmos. One thing i like a lot is the "bulb" its got over the ceramic wax bowl. easy to see how much your pulling. Its got the same battery as the atmos i think too. it feels the same anyway. I know a buddy who's had the same Gpen for over a year and that too me is a huge endorsement for these things as they seem to die pretty quick. i guess we will see how long the edison holds up.

I have the Atmos Raw and it's not a vaporizer, unless we're talking about different models or something. Mine has a tiny coil heating element in a ceramic chamber. You pack your green in there and it burns. My green is so sticky, I had to clean it every couple days. But if the green is too dry, you can pull it right into your mouth. Now it seems to have stopped working.

I have a friend who constantly sucks on an e-cigarette that smells like french toast or cappuccino. I want this, but with a cannabis extract instead of nicotine. I'm waiting for a rainy weekend when I can make the trip to Ann Arbor or Lansing.
