I predict it will be more like flopables.
How much of that stuff is really going to be sold?
Popular...I say it will be only so -so.
Imo edibles are going to be much less popular than the other methods of using cannabis.
Some will sell...but volume....I say no.

The flower is going to make a comeback as it is so easiest to titrate with during the day just how stoned to get...

Many people think reaching intoxicating levels is what the weed experience is, in the beginning...
And sometimes, I guess, it is that. For me, it is best when I just hit a level of contentment.

Vaping concentrates is OK, but not nearly as enjoyable (to me) as breaking open a fresh bud to load in my dry herb vape or roll a spliff.

Get ready for a flood in emergency rooms of people eating too much, tripping balls, and thinking they are gonna die lol

Cheers :)
Yes after the initial " I gotta try these things " and inevitable " Jeez, I don't like
those things "....floppola
Imo whoever is eating them regularly now will be about it after 6 months in. The newbies brave enough to try it will green out and drop that idea pretty quick.
If I was in the edible business I'd be rather concerned actually. Because once the rush to produce these things happens and new companies come on board....overstocked.
There will so much of this stuff sitting around unsold it will crush some of these companies. If there was only a few companies no worries. But the stupid fik wads waiting to do this will find out very quickly......WAY OVER SATURATED.
And only a few folks really wanting any at all.
Plus a lot of it is PERISHABLE with out of date codes on them. How long do brownies etc last ..right?
Even gummies go icky after a while.
Anyway my prediction is floppsy woppsy.
Look how well the weed they though would fly off the shelf if going eh ????

Oh your so right man.
Edible are cool when and where...but the fact that once your on the ride you don't get off until it ends is a issue. smoking or vaping you control the high and can stop it when wanted.
To me you might smoke before work but are unlikely to want to be bake on edibles all day at work. therefore how much of this stuff can be used up or consumed in other words?
That why in my mind the sales will be minimal.
Same with oil......many many folks i know find it too strong and don't want or use it....just not GB...lol

I sure do. When I reach that level (I try every day) I feel zero pain. I am willing to trade some mobility/stability for no pain at no risk. I wish I was a lightweight smoker and could get that effect from two puffs like some people I know.

I know a few people who regularly buy edibles from the local dispensary but don't smoke much. Eating is their preferred intake method. They will continue, but you're right, most newbies will overdo it and be scared off.
I get zero effect from edibles...but I'm with GB on the oil. I can have my oil / distillate pen in my tool bag in a camp full of kids and maintain the buzz all day with nobody knowing.

I

I was meaning as they sit on shelves waiting to be sold. Sure at home freeze em.
But whoever is going to be selling this stuff won't be doing that.
It will be like shopping at No Frills, checking the "about to expire" 50% off bin :)

I disagree. I see edibles just now getting recognized for their full true benefits.

Some people take less while others need more but the tolerance doesn't increase much over time (I've done extensive research and testing) so once you find your "number" you can really hone in on your high while saving tons of money and feeling better, overall.

Also, profits are HUGE in the edibles game. I turn a single gram of bho and make it worth $125 (minimum) at a street price of $25, that's 5x reward- now imagine the profits we see in the big business side of it where grams are nearly double in price and per every 100mg edible, recreationally costs minimum $30 (in my state) on average- up to $55 with a price per unit of less than $2; crazy numbers and is extremely easy to make 100mg edibles (gumdrops, gummies etc).
