Edibles From Cali And Across The Globe?

I understand it is still a dildo move to ship raw herb from place to place.

What I don't get is why edibles aren't being shipped to those who want them.

Everyday tons of food, snacks, chocolates, sweets etc are shipped all over the world.

What I don't get is why there isn't a huge market for edibles.

There are only so many drug sniffing dogs at UPS/USPS/FedEx/Customs Etc. (even if they have them at all to begin with, which Ive never seen)

Most of the raw herb gets intercepted because of X-ray screening or bull shit obvious packaging. But edibles, even oils/tinctures don't seem to be spreading.

I would think this would be taking off like wild fire.

Maybe I'm just the last of the Mohicans but It seems that this would be alot easier to get away with.

I mean hell, even lolli-pops or something.

This seems to be an untapped market.

Worse case scenario what sounds worse: "duhh officer this weed in the package isn't mine". Or "How the fuck should I have known this chocolate contains THC, I certainly didn't order this".

All I'm saying is take advantage of the grey area.

That's a very interesting observation my friend. Even starting something with only local deliveries or something would be a good idea ... *ponders while stroking non-existent beard*

With the organic market exploding like it is, it would seem very simple to Legitimately sell organic foods with some THC infused goodness on the side.

Maybe a nice organic spread with a Knotts Berry farm label....

I mean shit, you could buy a case of tootsie roll lollipops at Costco and just switch out the packaging and the labels.

People are always trying to hide herb inside peanut butter, why not just have infused organic herb peanut butter?

Herb peanut butter ... my god, yer a genius! If you could find a way to market it or to advertise it without getting caught, I think it would do VERY well

It would be a very nice way to start the morning. A little toast with peanut butter, to go with the morning coffee.

I mean you would first have a legitimate organic company that is the business. Then, separate from the legitimate business you would have the "side business" which would be totally separate and stand alone.

That way if the shit hits the fan, the legitimate organic company would have no liability issues. Legally it would be a totally separate faction using your product and packaging to distribute the edibles.

Keep everything compartmentalized, just like the government does.

it would not be hard but, you will need a lot of product -A LOT-. One you procure your "green" you will need ingredients and believe me the costs add up quick. Make sure you know what your doing before you waste a bunch of money on munchies.

To be honest the only edibles Ive ever had has been brownies or cookies.

So you're saying there isnt alot of profit margin available because of the amount of time/product it takes to produce edibles?

Fuck me, its always something! Lol

Shit, now that I think of it, about a 1/2 ounce to an once just to make 1 tray of brownies. hmmmm. D'oh!

With a QP of product I was able to make this

1 pan of truffles ~ 5 per pair
2 pans of 4X Brownies ~ 7 each
About 30 cereal bars ~ 5 each
About 5 pint of Ice cream ~ 12 each
2 loaves Biscotti ~ 5 for 2 pieces.

Ok so that was a profit of about 300 bucks

It cost me about 140 dollars in ingredients and another 100 for the QP of trim. It took me three days and a tank of gas to make the edibles and deliver them to the dispensary

Im made like 30 buck after it was all said and done. You still have to worry about shipping costs AND you will also have to find client who are actually interested in buying edibles. The latter being the hardest part. Also remember if you make stuff that is perishable you risk losing the product if it gets stuck in the rain, or in the hot sun. I guess what I am saying is, unless your able to make them in high volume so you get better prices on your ingredients your pretty much ficked. Make em for your self and friends.

Sold it all and made

I am confused.. was this a concept or did you just illegally sell weed?

I ship many more lbs in edibles per year than I'll openly admit here... but yes, it's done regularly, on both small and massive scales :) Not all the edibles in Cali dispensaries for instance, were made locally ;)

Thank You BadKat! So I'm NOT Crazy.

I mean for example, Ive been taking Omega 3 soft gels for years. I really don't see how if those same fish oil capsules (that already smell like ass) had THC in them it would even be noticeable.

BTW I saw your post w/ the edibles and capsules w/ and w/out soy lecithin and I can say I was very impressed! My mouth was watering the whole way through.
