ebb and flood harvest

okay so ive finally reached the point where my plants have finished the flushing process using flora klean by GH and what im wondering is if i should just cut them down now or if i should give them a period of darkness without being watered before harvest, ive read that is the best way to go and ive also read that is a great way to create mold

also during the drying curing process i was wondering if putting them on a metal rack in the room with the dehumidifier going would be a efficient way to go? or if i should hang them? light or dark room? and also if i should trim the plants before or after drying?

i want to do this as efficient as possible considering ive been broke throughout this entire process and ive slaved away over this i need the best results i can get

please help me out it would be greatly appreciated
id prefer opinions of experienced growers with hydro but all comments will be takin into consideration :peace::leaf::eyesmoke:

Optimal drying conditions would be 70 degrees fahrenheit and 45% humidity. You can clip off the fan leaves before drying. As far as the dark cycle before cut down I've done it with several strains and I've never had any noticeable effects. Try it with half of your crop. It's best to do your own experiments.

wellll thanks for the info, i do experiment on my own but when it comes to harvest(my first time) id rather ask someones opinion rather than fucking it up and this whole thing being a waste. is laying them on a rack how i should do it or is hanging them upside down more efficient?
