anyone know of a semi-cheap and easy way for me to look at the tric's of my plant without dropping big bucks?

Yeah they're pretty cheap, but in all honestly you get what you pay for. The glass they use isn't that great, and you have to get really up-close (even touching) the buds to get a focused view.

I use the 60-100x radio shack scope too located here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2179604

It's inexpensive but can be pretty tricky getting it in focus. What I do that seems to work is focus it on clothing/something easy to see while the microscope is literally touching the object. Once it's in focus try to move away 1mm or so and re-focus it. Whenever I do this it lets me view trics on buds without touching the buds/leaves themselves. Check out the reviews for it at the link above, 99% of them are people looking at trics. :bigjoint:

I was going to say.. knowing the exact model of camera that took a cropped photo would be an interesting skill to say the very least. A Lot of photographers use EFIX data like that from other shooters photos to try and recreate the same scene to get similar photos. God bless efix data for the hands on learners like myself in the past.

SLR for the win on trich checking.
