easy rider auto

i im trying my hand at an autoflower grow while my outdoor is going, i popped 1 easy rider that i got from a friend i think it was the 30-31 of May it popped from the soil. im now on day 7-8 or something but it looks so damn scrawney for its age i look at some old seeds i popped and they were twice this things size same soil lights etc. im using some generic ass soil with perlite mixed in. i wasent sure if i could drop a fresh seed into good soil like ffof and get anything out of it. but here are some pics so you guys can critic also for my lighting im using a t5 6500k like an inch or 2 away from her.IMG074.jpgIMG073.jpg

ooh and the lights are on 27/7 for this one until its big enough to go outdoors and get some real light and im in the process of popping a blue Himalayan. With this one should i use my better soil the Kellogg's patio plus stuff or would i just burn the seedling?
and do you think repotting the easy ryder to some better soil would help?

FFOF is definitely what you should have started out with but since you are where you are and it is what it is...just go with what you have and fix it as you go...autoflowers are unforgiving due to their short lifespan but you can always adjust when you move to larger containers...I suggest Nirvanna's Soiltabs/Flowertabs in unfamiliar soil as they are very stable and have everything an autoflower needs to produce top quality bud...I never use anything but a bacto mix or root enhancer for 10-14 days after germinating auto seed...then 1/4 of a soiltab for 10-14 more days...then a half to a whole flower tab (depending on length for particulars strains) for the duration of the auto cycle. You would do well to look at YouTube video "Most Amazing AutoFlower Ever" and consider new generation LED's when choosing lights...especially for Autos...Gas Technologies has a new Orbiter Hi-LED fixture that is a PHENOMINAL upgrade to any indoor setup...also consider Ceramic Metal Halides before you go HPS like the majority ...there is much to choose from and only you know the particulars of your grow and it's own situational constraints as well as your personal preferences and budget considerations...

My Easy Ryder (from Joint Doctor) was scrawny at the start too but it is doing great now. As a matter of fact I popped the seed in a paper towel and dropped into coco medium in a solo cup 1/4" down and after 5 days nothing happened. I had to go exploring with a tooth pick. I found the tap root was pointing up instead of down so I turned it around and it came up finally 2 days later. Most seedlings can do a u-turn with the root to kick up the sprout to the surface. So I though this would be a dud. It looked like a runt too for the first 3 weeks then started to show signs of progress. It even started flowering late in the 6 week range. At 7 weeks now it is finally looking like a success story at 37" tall with 5 main colas. This will be one of those 70-80 day autos with my pheno but at least it's not a single cola plant I see for most autos. The smell is sweet and berry like and pumps her perfume in the dark hours mostly (18/6). I've been using Canna Coco as the medium in a 2g hempy bucket with the Canna Coco A&B nutes too....T5 lamps for 1 month then 180W LED's thereafter.
