Just had to add some more water and nutes to my res, this girl has sucked up nearly 12L over night.

I gotta question eastcoast when you hit your girls with XL do they go through a shock and have a lil nute burn. Oh and I'm def cutting back on the Silica cus that is really swinging my pH like crazy and I think they may be the problem cus the Ph was too high when I checked her last night when I got home from work. I'll post some pix in my journal let me know what you think

The first grow i did last yearwith XL i got some nute burn, this time so far *touch wood* it hasnt so some strains arent able to take as much i think.
Good call with the silica, i wont be using much of it anymore ;)

Thanks man, yeah she is turning out awsome frost and weight wise,, i've never had such massive buds on a plant before, and they look and feel really heavy /dense already, I'm imagining about 100 grams at this point. My biggest yeild so far with a 250 watt light was 80 grams with lemon skunk and this plant is dwarfing what that looked like!.

I've only been giving this girl that chili food with low P.. NPK is like 3:1:4.4 and it has a calcium value of 2.5 i think. It's weird how my biggest ever yeild and best ever frost has came about with very low levels of what everyone says a flowering plant must get. Food for thought.

You gotta read every Uncle Ben's post then mate.Think out of the box. These plants need their leaf healthy to maximize their potential.Healthy leaves = bud production.A good formula is Jack's classic bloom food and Dyna-Gro bloom food as well.I've ordered both and i'll be using em soon enough. They do have a Guaranteed Analysis - which is why i'm buying those -,they are full nutrient wise and they are pretty cheap..(although the shipping costs made the price double for me since they travelled all around the world). Every forum has those paradigms.I got 70g off my first grow and i could have gotten more.I'll be better this time ;)

Chick some pics up bro.. 12L already?
I'm done with it too bro. Too much of phosphorous in it and I have plenty in base and other adds. When I don't add it pH is spot on where it needs to be 5.8 Looking good eastcoast I wish my girl was still green while on the XL but the pH swings locked it and all phosphorous out. Keep it up bro

Yep, I have Ben and Kite to thank for the Low P idea.

Actually , My plants always go downhill fast the more p is added. I think its a conspiracy by the big nute companies.. sell people stuff that reduces yields , so people have to grow more and keep buying more nutes.. haha how sick would that be if I was right

Yea it is bro it's all good I'll just cut it back like you said for now unless it still swings hard but that's really good bro. Can't wait to see what she looks like. That's why I wanna grow from clone cus the foundations already set it stone when you start them. Growing from seed takes a while for it to get strong but plants from seed are usually stronger so I know after a while she will be fine. Hit us with some pix when you can
