Grow Comments-
I haven't felt this good about a grow in a long time. While the plants weren't in 100% perfect condition and health, I would say I was in the 90% range. They were all fed with Jack's Classic Citrus Blend, (20-10-20) almost the entire way through, with some timely doses of Jacks Bloom Booster(10-30-20), and always around 250ppm for each feeding. I had very minimal leaf tip damage and the leaves stayed a healthy green throughout flower with a nice natural yellow fade at the end.
ECSD is known for throwing early and late flower nanners but these were completely nanner free until the last few days, and then only a few showed up.
I haven't found a single seed in the entire 4 plant batch.
I was actually hoping for a few seeds to store away but its just as well that I didn't.
Easy to grow with a great yield.
Wunderbar!

Flavor Comments-
What more can be said about the flavor of ECSD. It lasts the entire way through a bowl or joint, and you can tell it apart from just about anything else. If you have a bunch of half smoked joints in the ash tray and light one up, you will know if it's ECSD. It still holds it's flavor even when laying at the bottom of an ash tray.
Love it or hate it, it is a true elite in the taste department.
Of the 4 plants I grew, 3 of them had a straight fuel flavor with a hint of sour in the mix. Plant 3 had a much more pronounced sour flavor but still had plenty of fuel.
It's been 3.5 years since I quit smoking cigarettes and I'm just starting to notice my sense of taste may be improving. I never noticed the "sour" in sour diesel during the cigarette days but I can certainly taste it now.
BUZZ Profile—
Trippy! Exciting! Fun! Euphoric! This is the kind of smoke that inspired the phrase " two hitter quitter". Most veterans will be okay but the novice might want to be careful with this strain. My guess is this is one of the strains that benefits greatly from the "entourage" effect. With all the flavor terpenes in this it certainly must add to the euphoric feeling.
For fun, you could give this to your brother-in-law that only smokes once a year and see what happens. It could be amusing. It could be dangerous. It could be both amusing and dangerous.
Actually, it will just be fun.
Pure Fire!
I'm smoking it right now!

Final Comment-
ECSD has a well deserved reputation as one of the all time greats and Dr Greenthumb's representation is superb and spot on to the original in every way I can judge. Having the ability to bring a clone only strain to seed form like this and for those seeds to be so stable, suggests a high level of breeding ability.
The good Doctor has taken this and other clone only strains and delivered them in seed form for those of us that don't have a trustworthy source for clones. I for one am very thankful.
ECSD goes down as not only one of my all time favorites but a favorite of my patients as well.
It has been, and will continue to be, a perennial favorite.

Lab Results-
Unfortunately, I only had the funds to get potency testing done. I'm sure the terpene testing would be just as interesting but this test should give you a good idea.
