Early signs of bud rot?

IMG_0178.PNG this plant looks very strange, you can see what looks like a small thing of bud rot and all the hairs have disappeared. Is the hairs disappearing a symptom of bud rot?

IMG_0179.PNG On the previous plant I am 99% sure it has bud rot, but on my other plants the about half the hairs seem to be turning brown and dying as seen above. Or are these just maturing and turning orange? In online pictures of mature buds the hairs seem to turn more orange while mine are more brown and dead looking? They have went a long period without water and started drying up, could this be the cause of the dead hairs or could be bud rot developing inside?

not an expert but i dont think they look as bad as mine, do they smell damp or wierd?

i had the inside centre of the buds going black/brown and just falling apart in my hands
Didn't notice a smell but these are certainly not the worst ones, but instead some of the healthier looking ones! I had the same deteration of buds on other plants but wanted to know if it had already spread to others. My hairs look very similar to the ones in your photos, they look more brown and dead like then orange and mature (I guess but this is my first grow so idk) Are your photos of an infected plant? Do you believe the brown dead looking hairs are a sign of bud rot or are they just the natural cycle of a healthy plant?

Usually you'll see a dying leaf, or leaves. It'll be localized, it stands out.
The only way to know is to look, just bend the bud carefully and get a peek of the main stem and the inner side of the buds, this is where mold typically starts.
