Bump. Someone has to be using store bought charcoal filters like the one from htgs. Do they kick ass? Is the home made shit just as good?

Buy the real fan and filter combo, or you will regret it later and end up spending the money anyway. All you will do is waste time and $$ on the DIY version.

X2 and get a tall boy filter esp if you are doing any really stinky stuff

X3 and get a fan speed adjuster, they are fairly cheap and it will reduce the noise drastically.

thanks for the reply guys! was starting to think i was the only one on the website, ha...

defiantly going with the htgs combo fan/filter....does the tall boy really make that much of a difference? and as for the fan speed adjuster, im still on the market to look for a good one. ive read bad reviews about the one they sell on htgs, along with their muffler. i will be getting a "phat muffler" instead.
