Pipedreams seem like that are turning around at 350-380ppm. I upped the healthy one back up to 450ppm as it was at 250ppm.

Pieface is a bushy bitch. Third time I had to crop it back.

Laughed at the 1.4EC I gave and after 3 days was at 1.1EC. But rose up to 1.2EC since going to flower. I think because the room is warmer and its drinking more water.

Blue OG is like a perfect color green. I wish all my plants looked that good.

I knew I should have cloned her.

The new growth on the pieface is a nice green color. I should run some clones off it in case its female. I hope its female.

These pieface are from Archive seeds.

I got Stinkbomb from them as well and Grimace. Grimace looks dope. I got 4 for 4 males though. Well 2 I culled so they could have been females.

never heard of archive. where are they at? i've had great luck with nirvana seeds. lots of fem stuff and no problems with delivery from Europe.

how do you sex yours? obviously, you start the seeds. elaborate from there please. do you flip to 12/12 to get them to show and then switch back to veg if they are female?

I ran Wonder Woman from Nirvana and it went over pretty well for a first grow ever. How're the genetics? I never ordered again because they're on the cheaper side.

they are cheap which is why i like them. and their feminized stuff has a good variety. lots of famous strains too which is nice. i've done papaya, aurora, super skunk, jock horror, and bubblelicious. all but one have turned out great so far. my first run of bubblelicious was shitty but that was grower error when i gave coco a try.

i really want to give some Colorado genetics a go since this is the last of my nirvana seed stash.

Just jumping in here. I'm curious about others methods of sexing as well. I have some reg beans on the way. In the past I would grow them up big enough (aprox a month or so) to get a small cutting from each one, label them and immediately put the cutting under 12/12. Not really interested in them rooting, just showing sex which takes 7+ days depending on the strain. Worked well for me, just label them right so you know what clone belongs to what mother.

I grow to a size I like then flip. If male I kill them.

Archive is based in Spain their website says. I thought they were PNW.

Thats a good idea. I do the same only I keep clones in veg and bring the mother or father to 12/12. This way I know much it stretches. Usually my first run on a new strain is shitty but I get a more real representation of how the plant stretches than if I were to flip clones to 12/12 immediately.

You mean you DON'T come everything you run from seed to have a keeper?! I thought that was kinda the point of popping beans in the first place?

I grew it before and didnt have that good of results and was just growing it to have a known female in this go around.

Why would I keep a plant whose results werent great?

So the second time around on the reject looks better than the first? It's happened to me more times that I care to admit...

I can start a seed in a flood and drain table in a small piece of rockwool under a 1kw hps 12/12 set at about 44"and still FIMM before any of the seedlings show sex.

The snips go under 24/0 until sex shows on the seedling. If the seedling is a female the snip will remain in the greenroom under 24/0 until the seedling(s) is/are flowered out. The better female snips are kept for moms.

I ordered a carbon filter today and gonna exhaust my room going forward this winter.

It was 80F 62% in a corner. Prob 90F under the lights.

No wonder the feed is increasing all of a sudden on the Pieface I brought to flower.

11/22 - new res at 610
11/23 - was at 530ppm
11/24 - was at 480ppm
11/26 - new res at 690ppm
11/29 - was at 560ppm (brought to flower)
11/30 - was at 590ppm (add tap to 3 gal mark at 530ppm)
12/1 - was at 650ppm and drank 1.5gal (changed the res at 2/3rd strength to 480ppm)

Should I have just kept adding back tap to counteract it drinking more water due to increased heat?

Andddd this is why I stay in my comfort zone all the time...

Anytime I try something different I fail.
Failing leads to learning, which leads to knowledge, which leads to success.

I run my nutrient strengths higher than yours, around EC1.8-2.0. Every day, the EC meter creeps UP a tenth or two and I add back water to balance. Of course the plants are drinking the nutes too, I'm just maintaining a consistent nutrient level. I notice you allow your nutrient strength to swing quite a bit and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with your troubles.
