just curious. did you try to source that stuff locally? and can you source that stuff locally? that's a good ass raping on the shipping charges.

I tried to get the calcium nitrate and mkp locally but id need to get the 5-11-26 from them anyways since i dont feel like buying all the ingredients to make the mix.

So I could have saved myself 30 or so on the raping.

This is still cheaper than liquid nutes despite the raping on shipping.

And this way @ttystikk can help me if im using the exact formula as him. I may tone it down a touch since im running weaker lights.

I emailed Haifa about a local distributor for the MKP which would also most liekly sell a CaNO3 product. Then did enough google searches for fertilizer suppliers to put my name on a goverment watch list.

Came up with some lawn companies offering lawn specific ferts. All high N shit so I said fuck it and supported Colorados economy.

Rhode Island isnt as far established in the MMJ world as CO is

Northeast is big into farming. Im sure there would have been a place. But 25lbs still woulda been shipped which was like 32 dollars.

Im actually not 100 percent on the shippi g as they didnt gimme a quote. But thru their website the 5-11-26 and calcium.nitrate was 50lbs at 52 shipped. Figured the 5 pounds of MKP would make it 60.

It does hurt paying that much just for shipping. But imma be using this shit for a while.

yeah, that hydro gardens is about an hour away from me. i only use 10gals of water a week so i'm not spending too much on nutes anyway.
i am kinda curious to see how db likes the flying skulls. i tried their Z7 root additive a few years ago. it seemed like it worked well in dwc back then.

aren't some of the potassium ferts on watch lists now? what's the one they mix with diesel to make things go boom?

i think its kno3 potassium nitrate. Not sure though. Not my intended use.

Dont even wanna search it. Coupled by my recent purchase it may send up the wrong kind of flags.

'Ammonium nitrate' mixed with fuel oil or diesel is the bang bang. It might even be self igniting, not sure. Not my intended use!

Besides, calcium nitrate is specifically exempted from hazardous safety laws, says so right on the bag. And it works super good and it's cheap and if you keep it dry it stores fine for years.

I mix and use 400 gallons or so a crop, give or take. It might cost me a tenspot.

Just get ya some 13-13-13 and go to town!

I like this premixed stuff, Just went up to my fave hydro store and talked him into claiming a Flying Skull territory so maybe he'll be carrying it soon.
I think it's going to work out nicely.

Having trouble finding a barrel. Everything online is 40-50 in shipping for 60 dollar barrel.

Found one in connecticut a 15 gal blue food grade poly for $24. 75 mile drive though. Fuck that.

Found a bunch 55 gal. Just too big for my needs.

I got a 40 gal barrell with a side latch locking top! God knows what was in it... Your welcome to clean n keep. Lol
