Which reminds me, I'm out of co2 again, I think I'm gonna set the generator up with some water cooling but it will be passive. No chiller just 25 gallons of water.
Bet that'll need some active cooling. Don't hook it up to your chiller, that's just a waste of money. Instead, rig your return line to put into the reservoir from above, preferably spread out like a waterfall. For the res itself, use something that will transfer heat easily, such as a metal trash can. Keep it outside the grow room and in the shade if possible.

Done did the hooked into the chiller circuit, big mistake.
Documentation from the Mini Gen says 25 gallons of water will do it without a chiller.

Set at 48f because that's where the aqualogic with no temperature control chills it down to. I've been running co2 so my temps are a little higher and my water varies from 48 to 55 or so. I have the 1/2 horse set to come on at like 50f I think.
Whys your water as low as 55 degrees? DAMN

You need a temperature differential for heat transfer to happen. Your AC wouldn't do shit if it exhausted air that was already 77 degrees. It has to put out cold air so there's some thermal mass with which to lower room air temps. Same with water.

So i was looking and the botanicare bulkheads are only single ripple. How much does that matter?
I found that if the barb was fairly sharp it would seal well. The CAP crap was rounded from overuse of the molds and wouldn't hold without at least a plastic clamp. We're not talking a lot of water pressure here, just a fraction of a psi...

Possibly...Ive been slacking with everything really. Ill have the reflectors ducted by tomorrow.

Im going to bust out my flood table and veg in that. One 40 gal res for less pH and EC changes. Rig up some rail system to hold the netpot lids. Transfer to rdwc. Or dwc if I cannot get it going in time.

Im just going to buy the botanicare bulkheads for like 1.78 per. Its local. Guy only had 16 at the time I called. Said more will be in by wednesday.

Just a little info in case you didn't know. When using aquarium sealant on smooth rubber or plastic, rough all surfaces up with sandpaper.
I had two out of 4 bulheads leak, gonna take them apart one more fucking time and rough those surfaces up.

Yeah Ive been so tired lately. Not sure why. I usually can go strong on 5-6 hours sleep. Lately i need 7-8 to feel tired all day.

Perhaps im just getting old.

Just sucks using up 18 hours in a day just working and sleeping. I miss the 6 hour school days and 4 hour sleep

I found that being sure to clean the inside surface around the drilled hole helps the rubber grommet seat better and has eliminated leaks from the bulkhead. The only troublesome leaks for me are those where the hose connects.
