Dwc setup ???

This is my first time setting up a dwc, and I found some kits on eBay and I see some with the air stones in all 4 buckets and some with just one in the res bucket. Guess my question is which would be the best to get. Thanks on advance

It's cheaper to build your own. I was looking at buying premade bucket kits on amazon but ended up just getting a double air pump for 10 bucks at wal-mart, black hosing for the air pumps for a couple of bucks, 4 inch airstones and 6 inch net pot lids from a hydro shop for a few bucks each. The black buckets were the most expensive, like 5 bucks each from Home Depot. Drill a couple of 1/4' holes and you're good to go!

EDIT: Since I didn't really address your question, although I am a total newbie, I think the more oxygen for your roots, the better so I have a stone in each bucket and one is nice in the res too to keep things mixed up in there.

The more drain current the better within reason. I would go 2" not 1/4".

make your own, its alot easier and cheaper. Buy a 5 gallon bucket with a lid, buy a air pump from wal mart and a few air stones, buy 1/4 tubing, all this will ost under 20 and can be found in the fish section of walmart.

And thank you for just those responses. Walmart and home depot will definitely be my next stop. Didn't realized until now how cheap it is. Thanks
