also dont even worry about that algae, if u want stick an old sock aorund the stalk of the plant once it gets bigger, blocking the light will stop photosynthesis of the algae, walaa all better

we both are right and wrong, its all stlye of growing your right theres a million diffrent answers, i saw your jorunal anyway hash plant what company did u get ur hash plant from ? how do u like it if uve grown it, big yields? hashy?

yes the taste is awesome i grew it a while back and felt like a quality indica after a heavy stint on the sativas.

the are original sensi seeds in original sealed packaging

i've grown in rockwool for many a year and i used to do all sorts for algae, now i just don't care about it, it doesn't effect me, i know it draws oxygen from the cube, but all the smaller cubes around it will give it loads of oxy, and the top cubes dry out so quick they don't get a chance to grow algae, the algae is limited to that 4 inch square on top

i'm not sure how that cross would go, you got the yield from the lui, but the strength in lui is from the ortega which is the kick in the nuts that black dom gives, sensi star is nice don't get me wrong, it just seems like a weak plant compared to lui to make a cross.

you got any journal going on that because i'd like to see how it turns out,

i would have personally kicked something like ak47 in, or a potent kush

as i say don't take offense because i like sensi star as a strain,

and also paradise sensi star i was thinkin outdoor for that baby this year how do u think itll do?
if you got the weather for it go for it, it will definitely be far more potent and longer lasting stone, but its not a yielder which the outdoor will also improve

yeah it would be interesting, i'm along for the ride, where we going?

all good brah, well actually CH x SB and SSxLUI are strains given to me by a fellow grower and in my small circle of growers i associate with on a peronal basis, anything they give me is gona be good enough quality that i definitley want it in my garden so thats mainly why i got those going, the 8 ball is also a reffered strain, wr and cindy are just my personal deep stash headies shit, so im also interested to see what these crosses have to offer

Its root rot. I would clean the rez and flush with H2O2 and clearing solution. Use fresh nutes and get some SubCulture to help repair the roots and prevent it from coming back. Some SuperThrive wouldn't hurt either. Also check your rez temp and keep it as cool as possible. Keep your pH around 5.8 and keep your fingers crossed that they pull through. You have a 50/50 shot depending how bad it is .

see thats a better response than give up on hydro until you know what you are doing, and go use a soil less mix

only a few weeks in, im about to get my clones into 12 and 12 soon i just want them to be a tiny bit bigger theyre just rooting, i dont have a journal im way to scared to constantly post pics and keep up on the internet because where im at = highly illegal so i need to be as careful as possible and i just feel vulnerable posting to many pics, i got some pics of some cindy on here from last harvest, i try to stay low profile while helping fellow growers out, i do keep journals theyre just in my grow room :D

my res temp is 70F no way over , probably just under, but i have a heater in there so it is easy to get res temp down to 60F but i thought that would be too cold. my tap water is 250ppm ph 7.5. so im using distilled water from my dehumidifier instead , maybe i should just use tap water?one other prob is the very very tip of the leaf is bright yellow and im using very lo ppm hesi nutes for it to be nute burn....

still can't post pics

brown roots in dwc is root,

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, it often occurs once your res temps stay too high for too long

unfortunately its incurable, but you can control it and still get a harvest
Some of the brown coloration in the roots could be due to your nutes changing the color of the roots. It's pretty common. If the roots feel slimy and soft (squishy) and the plant looks listless, it's probably root rot. If so, trim off the bad roots and be sure to get ALL of the roots out of the tub. Changing your tank is also a splended idea. If you're not using organic nutes, you might try tossing in 1 tsp/gal of Epson Salts. Let it run a couple hours before you drain and replinish. It won't hurt the plants unless you're using organic nutes.
