DWC root problem

alright so this is my first dwc in a ten gal rubber maid with a 3.75 net pot. i had one 7.8L pump when i started and just put a clone in and left it and it grew. lol. got pics but cant post at the moment. to lazy. anyways cpl quick questions. whats a good res temp? trying to keep it between 60 and 70. using rockwool magic hydro nutes. but my roots are turning yellow like right at the water line,. the rest of the roots are white and have good root growth(well i think so at least, this is the first time like i said) its just right at the water line and just starting tonight. thanks guys

make sure u are blocking all light gettin through,, and if still concerened get some oxy plus or pure h202, that will prevent any nasties and increase oxygen content of water. sometimes its jus a trick of th eeye as roots in water look whiter,,, i wouldnt worry if u have gd root growth. jus keep a close eye. do any of ya nutes have colour to them?

i would think light is getting through
