DWC Rescue mission! Any & All help.

Ok sorry for no updates been super busy not to mention battling heat in my tent because it was record highs in Seattle but I'm back here we go. These 2 were in rock wool cubes with long healthy roots much better than the last lol so when I got them Friday I put them into the buckets one dwc and one in the waterfarm now I had no intention of doing a side by side test but I'll tell ya the dwc kicked the water farms ass after 5 days the plant in the waterfarm was looking no where near the dwc so I just moved the clone from the waterfarm to another dwc I had laying around we shall see if it can catch up to its partner. I'll post pics soon As I can thanks oh and great white is this root booster I bought

Also my ph is rising really fast from mid fives after I adjust up to low to mid 7's in like 8-10 hrs is this the hydroton or something else? Any way to ease the drift also in the pics to come you will see some taco leaves i did unfortunately burn them a tad following a friends advice to feed more nutes but I'm sure they will recover from a minor nute burn what is the proper response to nute burn in the future? Like you feed come back later or next day and it's burned what is the response plan? Than you to all of you I'm happy I'm not fighting the good fight alone thanks for all the help and I hope to return the favor one day

Never put into system until roots are ready and always better to under feed than over. hope you rinse cleaned the hydroton before use.

I love all 7 of my water farms.

Next time take a drill bit and open those bottom holes up a little bit to allow roots to grow through better. Then put a hole in the side to run an air stone. Then cycle your top feed 15 on every 4 hours. I leave my top feed on 24 hours the first couple of days after transplant. Once you see roots out of the bottom then you can stop top feeding slowly over a week. Then no more top feed and you now have dwc. I got 7 ounces off my last plant.

There is a ton of guides for this. Just Google custom Waterfarm or modified Waterfarm.

Don't buy clones from someone who can't give you them in any medium.

The clone I have came in rock wool I think that constitutes a medium might be confused. What is my first step to achieving the goal of healthy plant and roots ? I need a starting point to recovery

Do I need to flush them or something I need to know what changes to make just pretend it was yours what would you walk right now into your grow and do? Thanks guys

Grow from seed and make your own clones. It's simple! RIU is here to help you recover!

I thought I read somewhere you had to wash soil out of your roots?

How would you like it if someone man handled your Jigglysack?

Sorry ok lets do this.

I would kill them because they are not worth saving and will probably hermie from the stress you have already caused. Washing out soil, poor setup of water farm etc etc...

Then I would get some reliable seed or someone with an aeroponic cloner who can give you clones with a good root structure. This is what my roots look like from my clones when they get pulled to go into my veg system. If this was going into my waterfarm I would just take off the foam thingie mah bobber thing and leave the net pot on.Then I would set up my waterfarm to have an airstone with more holes in the top bucket to allow more roots. Then I would get a handful of hydroton at a time and put it in slowly in the top bucket so I wouldn't damage the roots. If the roots are long enough to where the plant sits nicely towards the top of the bucket and they are touching the bottom, gently guide some roots to the outer holes and you will get a ton more roots. Make sure your hydroton is cleannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Then soak in PH water overnight before doing anything with it.
