DWC people, please help me! Am I killing my plants?

I just changed up to a new DWC system and I think my water level is too high because I've got a plant with droopy rubbery leaves. It almost looks dead. I reduced the water level by one gallon and I hope that does the trick. Would having the water level way too high just completely over water the plant to the point where it almost looks dead? Is it possible for the plant to bounce back? She's knocking on death's door.

:(

Thanks for any help.

If you have the water level to high you can drown them... I carelessly did that with a clone earlier this week... it goes rubbery and limp and the leaves fold together and look really bad. you can sometimes heal them by taking the plant and rockwool ? Out, and place it in a heated propagator for a few days be sure to squeeze out all the water from the rockwool .. it will be gagging for air :) - STELTHY :leaf:

The water should be 1/2 inch below netpots so the bubbling action splashes water on the bottom of the net pot. It should not be submerged in the water at all.
