dwc, no drip... res control?

Hey, first time using dwc. I have 6 5gal buckets without light getting in with 8" netpots in lid. Bought some good bubblers and ran the line into the buckets from bottom so lines dont get tangled in roots. How do i get temps lower when the buckets are all seperated? Cant put bottle inside the 5gal with roots.

I looked into this and cant figure out what everyone has as a "res". Get huge tub and fill with water and put buckets inside the tub? But the buckets wont let the tub water inside the 5gals? Sorry alittle noobness but trying to setup right while clones rooting.

Doing 2 250w mh bulbs for veg for 8 weeks then flowering under 2 1kw verticle hung bulbs for 8-9weeks the pineaple express takes. Rooms are 10x10 so they can grow wide if they want and good height.

Also going to use aquashield the entire grow. Flush once a week with new nutes an new aquashield. Does this sound good to help prevent root issues?

i have done dwc for years and have never had. problem with putting frozen 20oz bottles of water in the bucket. it will not bother the plant or roots. try using aquashield along with pondzyme and you shouldnt have to worry.

I should use aquashield once a week so there is always some in the buckets correct? Cant harm the plant if used right? Ill use every flush.

as boomer used to put it........"cool waters, no light"
I've got a cooler just like that with a couple plants in it, roots pretty much filling up the cooler as for room, I bought some plastic freezer food storage containers that are somewhere around a liter or so, I just fill them up with RO water, freeze them and if and when the temp comes up I just pop it out of the container like it was a big ice cube and drop it in the cooler, lots of contact with the roots until it melts with no visible damage to the plant that I can see .saves cleaning up the bottle plus keeps the water level up a bit.
