Anything under 6" will be destroyed by your roots size. Even those get a beating.Does net pot size matter when running a RDWC grow? Will there be a real difference between using a 2", 3", or 6" net pot?
I would agree but for the gain vs the cost of likely replacement I would do 6 or better. Personal preference I would say each has benefits.I'll be different. 2".
Anything under 10" is going to need support with a decent yield. 2" hits the water quicker and provides more aeration around the cup.
I've moved beyond buying cups for $0.30 a piece to plastic drinking cups for fractions of a penny, but I still have 14 2" cups that I'm going to use up sometime lol.I would agree but for the gain vs the cost of likely replacement I would do 6 or better. I use the same snap lids with 6" I can't find em cheap usually $5-10 eachI used 8" netpot bucket lids so they can support themselves, at least until they get big enough to trellis.
The bucket lid snaps over a 5 gallon bucket, which gives it stability.
Don't mix and match- not even between brands. Each netpot has its own depth and you'll want them all the same.
They're indefinitely reusable- mine are fine after years of constant use.I use the same snap lids with 6" I can't find em cheap usually $5-10 each
Yeah I find mine are too but if I went 2" probably not so muchThey're indefinitely reusable- mine are fine after years of constant use.
those are convenient for sure.I have square buckets, else I'd have already opted for the 5 gal bucket net lids.
