DWC Medium instead of clay pebbels and rockwool

OK so I have decided I'm going to try *Bubbleponics* (Deep Water Culture)

OK, now in the net pots you put the Seedling, Rock Wool, And the Clay Pellets.

What can I fill the net pot with instead of the Rock Wool And The Clay Pellets ???

Could I fill the net pot with % 100 Coco Coir Fibers ??

I would use something that wont drift out of the pots. What is your objection to hydroton?

I mean why do you have to use anything support the plant in the net basket with a wire.

I just don't want to have to order anything online and we don't have a local Hydro store here.

I use the DWC and I use coco lite in my net pots . I dont have any problems with it . My plants are growing nice . I have use lava rocks before . but I like the coco lite much better. here some pics of my grow .

Try Diahydro its a new product. They say it works great

for starters u need to keep the light out so i medium would help and also a medium helps to keep the plants wet, if you really cant get a hold of anything i was just make your own nets from cups and use a big sponge for a medium ..then tape it up to stop algea
