DWC Liberty Haze Grow. Please Reply, In need of other opinions.

Ok, so im thinking about running a 5 gal DWC bucket with a growdan rockwool cube cute to shape stuffed in the net pot. I plan to germinate in a paper towel than place the seed into a small rockwool cube that fits right into the growdan rockwool cube. I am using GH Flora Duo and KoolBloom. Flushing with Clearex. Using an Enzyme as well to keep salts low and pH stable. Has anyone already done this? Maybe you can provide me with some information. thankyou

I had bad luck going strictly with rockwool in DWC, green slime & fugus gnats.

I suggest that you use hydroton (expanded clay pellets) to fill the net pot.

I'm insulating my DWC culture bucket, along with the lid with ducting insulation. So there will be no light penetration whatsoever. I will keep watering the rock wool until the roots have reached the reservoir then the rock wool in the net pot should dry almost completly except along the bottom where misting water favor will be hitting from the air stones. That should cover my green slime and fugus gnat problem. I also have a reservoir chiller so my temps will never induce root rot. now that you have a better idea of what im running for a system can you give other ideas to improve.

You've got the nutes and root treatment, only other thing I can say is....lots of light and lots of air (to the roots). This last grow I more than doubled my lights and air, and almost doubled my yield.
