Setup

Plug&Grow 200W Redlight 2700Kelvin CFL
DWC (Deep Water Culture) Hydroponic System(1 210l/h Airpump / 10cm Bubblestone)
GHE - Tripack FloraDuo - (Hydro) Nutrients (Starterkit with PH test & downer, very good price for what you get)
1,5mm Styrophor & S/W Foil from local Growshop
Grey Duct Tape
Big Tower (H/W/D = 58/42/23cm)
120mm Fan with Activate Carbon Filtre Pad (in&outside)
2x80mm Fan for Fresh Air
Timer for CFL
2x Shiva Skunk Cuttings (80%Indica)
2x Chronic Cuttings(90%Indica)

Planed the whole setup carefully and go tomorrow to my local grow shop to get all the items
Much Pictures and more detailed thread follow tomorrow

In my Country i can buy legaly perfect healthy 100% Female Cuttings. (10€/13$ Each)
So i can get in 8 Weeks (Flowering) + 9 Days (Dry) to harvest.
What you guys think i can yield with this setup?
i Can put in more then 4 plants with this Light/Case Specs?
(i think 6 Plants will also fit, but i think when the plants have more place the yield is better?)

All depends on how big your plants will get, i've seen Pc grow boxes with just two in from seedling to harvest. Use LST that will really help, im currently making a PC grow box for my Auto Early Wonder Skunk Feminized.

I Researched alot about LST and i rly wanna try this technique :)

i buyed today following parts (local dealer):

Plug&Grow 200W CFL Redlight
E40 Socket + Cable (need to assemble)
Duct Tape Grey
S/W Foil (3x2m)
6 2" Netpots
2 3" Netpots
GHE - Tripack FloraDuo (Ph Test works great, 500 Tests included)

I Put the +/- from the Powercable in the E40 Socket,
i read that i can isolate the end of the grounding but i think it need to be connected to a metal right?

I think to buy this as case for the netpots/plants, transparent caps are not good for the roots right?

Keep us updated. I love when people incorporate DWC into micro grows, Ive seen a few micros outperform some mid sized grows :lol:

You Guys think i can Handle 5 Little "Sog Style" Plants under the 200W CFL in the Case?

How much Yield i can await (i googled hours about the yield theme,
the "big" growers laugh about the pc grower and say you maybe can get 5-10G per Plant but i also read a much reports who get 15-20G / PLant,
With my 200W 2700k CFL i think my light is also bit overpowered for my case and the buds grow bigger then by the 65w CFL grows)

But i would like to know if i can cover my own consumation with only 1 PC

i smoke 0,7-1G/Day, i can buy Clones legaly in my country ( 8 Weeks Flowering + 1 1/2 Week Drying )

0,8*73=58,4Gramms per Grow

i dont think i can get this much out with 5 Little Scrog Plants.

I Make the first run and after the harvesting i can calculate how big the next box need to be.

i dont want to grow with a homebox and have 300-500G in stash, cannabis is not legal in my country (funny law, can buy clones but herb is illegal), i only want to have my own consumation + maybe 20% for visiting friends.

When i get caught with 500G of Cannabis i go min. 6-15 Months to jail.

With maybe 100G i can say its my own consumation ( 1000 Grams in stash would be awesome but its to dangerous :( )

i can buy clones in any size i want from my local grow & headshop so this make the Veg Case obsolete? (15 Different Strains & 100% Female + i serve time)

When i put in 5 Plants in my Configuration, i can get 8-12g/Plant? or its better when i only put in 3 plants?

But i think i need to make another case (then i search a HUGE old server tower :D) that i have 2 Flower Cases, i think then i got my own consumation definitely :D

I Assemble in the next 3 Days the case that i be ready to grow.

Now the big question:

3 or 5 Plants, which will be the better result?

i i go to buy the cuttings next friday, will be nice when i got some experienced answers :)

yea you could kill it sog style. how many 16oz bottles do u think u can fit in there. you think you will be able to set up a 6-8 site dwc sog to work in that case? IMO u should do a perpetual sog. say your space can fit 9 plants, put 3 in at first, a week after put another 3 week after another 3, so when ur 1st ones finish the second batch will finish a week later and so on. seeing you smoke about a gram a day, after 1st harvest comes in and u get things down. the best way to do it (but you dont have enough space in the pc) is to make sure u can fit as many number plants the wide way the same number as weeks it takes for your strain to flower so if you have a 8 week strain you should be able to fit 8 plants the width of ur cab. 1st week u put 2 plants in, second week 2 more until the eighth week when ur last batch of 2 is going in which is when ur taking ur 1st batch of 2 out for harvest, and the next week after that ur getting 2 more. keep replacing what u take out and u will find urself harvesting every week!

I put in 5 plants this weekend

today i get such a nice deal (another Big Tower, the bigger version of my big tower, i think its one of the biggest case you can get)

The guy dont know what he have sold to me, in his eyes its scrap in my eyes its a nice big pw grow box :D

i only need to buy another CFL and Airpump (local grow store have 125-220W 2700k CFL i think used for 15-25$, but the CFL´s have 10.000 Light Hours so i think its no problem)

Case: 15$
CFL: 20$
Airpump&Stone: 15$
6 Netpots: 1$

Awesome Tall PC Grow Box : 51$ + 10$ Each Clone :D

S/W Foil is enough here.

Hey I have been looking at this and I hope that everything goes well for you. I am trying to build a pc growbox and I was hoping that you would be able to make a guide or tell me where you found out how to build one. I have the basic idea of what I am doing but i am not 100% sure with everything.

Yes i hope i didnt get temp probs with the DWC Hydro, but when, i install a plexi glass under the CFL and a another fan :)

What parts you have already ?
I can give you a list what you need to buy (which case you want to use? i can recommend that you go to a local hardware dealer (not the big companys)
and ask for a big ass old big tower, they are very cheap and have so much place to grow)

I'd say with space and amount of light 2 plants would be the most I, personally, would do. I would suggest taking a look at the book "Buds for Less" if you haven't. I've taken bits and pieces from it and it has really improved my overall setup and my expectations of yeild. In his book, he claims to grow a half lb in 75 days, that includes drying, with 3 plants and only about 300w of CFLs.

Id say 2 plants flowering at once in each case if you got access to clones, you'll yield at least 1/2 per case if you do everything else right.

I do one plant from seed in my pc case, which is much shorter than yours, and I get 1/2-3/4 oz per harvest

what are ur dimensions of ur case? how many watts do u use? what size pots?

My case is about about 45Hx47Wx20D (cm) and I use a 65w blue cfl for veg and 125w red for flower and I use 3L air pots with about 5cm cut off the height and I usually do autos.
